My sim purchased a small business lot from her phone and built the building using household funds. When I go to assign the business to the lot, the lot does not appear under “business lot assignment”. When I tried buying the lot again it says it’s already owned by this household, when I try to change the lot type it confirms it’s owned. When I go to try to open the business from the sign, it says no business assigned. But when I go to assign it to this owned lot, it does not provide the lot as an option.

sounds like this issue: [BH] [FR] Residential lot not recognized for small business (former R-Rental) | EA Forums - 11967900 but I'm unsure if it spreads to small business venues.
Did you ever have a residential rental on that lot ?

No, it was always a small business lot.

Sure, I can do that. I've also verified that the game knows the lot is owned by the family, but the business assignment feature is what is not working. I will send the save files to you. Thanks!
