Social events (Dates) end if Sims move onto another lot

I've had this issue since March 2025 I believe, where if I invite a sim out who isn't in my household on a date, my sim's household would also tag along, and after doing one of the date activities, it would end it abruptly. I had no mods at all at the time. I had my teenage sim ask out Morgan from the Get Together expansion pack and invited them out to the Boba shop in High School years. One of my other sims from the household of 5 followed along. When I tried to have my sim kiss hands, the date ended abruptly. In March I thought it was something I did and thought nothing of it, but it happened again on July 5th, 2025. My mods were turned off due to the update. I invited an Manuel Aguilar from Lovestruck on a date with my young adult sim to Salty Paws Saloon in Cats in Dogs, and my teenager household member followed. It wouldn't let me send her home since "A social event was in progress", so I put my teenager sim at a table and had her draw on the tablet while I continued with the date. After having my young adult sim grab Fish and Chips at the bar and sit down to eat at one of the picnic tables, the event ended on its own when the task was finished.

It only does this when I have a date on a different lot than the household one. I was hoping this could be looked into
