Stalling queued actions

I've noticed after the September 22nd update any actions that queue for my Sims they just stand around for a few in-game minutes or sometimes a few in-game hours before the action drops down and they actually do it. It is most noticeable with my high school Sims it takes forever to get through a high school day it's usually ending around 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in game time.

Same issue here. I select action and even though it's noted as a to-do, they just stand there.
I have to force debug sim to get anything done with almost all game play
Are you using mods/cc in your game ?
I removed all mods post-update and tested in Vanilla new save.
What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox).

*** UPDATE***
I was able to fix this issue by "repairing" the game 😁
