Teen Sim doesn't have permission to play chess at High School
Ran into this bug with a Sim that I dropped to Teenager after using the Story option for CAS. Took up Chess as the After-School Activity (Scout & Drama Club still doesn't count towards the Goal Oriented Teen Achievement). Since the character was at 75% for the daily task for Chess activity, I went to finish it during lunch break, and the play button's greyed out, with 'Your character does not have the permission' message coming up when moving the cursor to that option.
Clicking 'Play With...' brings the Sim that I'd invite to play, but my Sim's unable to join in.
First I thought it was just a bug relating to using the cas.fulleditmode, so I created a new Sim from scratch. This Sim ran into the same permission problem.
I've been trying to finish the Chess Daily task while at home, but when that Sim did so, Teens outside of the household couldn't play with the Sim when the Sim tried the 'Play With...' button. The Teen guest could be invited, but just like the household Teen Sim couldn't use the High School chessboard, the guest Teen couldn't use the household chessboard.
Child and Adult guest Sims are able to play with the household Teenaged Sim, so at least that still works.
Also, I've been running into problems with trying to complete the After-School Activity (Scouts doesn't have this problem thanks to the badgework), I'm able to get to the middle section of the Activity, but then there's problems with the character becoming late to the activity, even if they aren't engaged in another activity, like talking.
The Teen Sim then falls out of the range for Responsibility, sabotaging the completion of the Activity (which means the Sim couldn't finish the Goal Oriented achievement). Professional Slacker doesn't stop the negative slide of the Chess team progress bar, so the Sim's heading towards demotion/being kicked off the Chess team.
