When I've gone into create a sim, the shiny skin overlay doesn't work with MCCC on and with it off, which is super disappointing. It does nothing, even when the sim has nothing on or is an entirely blank canvas.

okay so i had them low and changed them to high and now its working! thanks!
I've merged this with the shiny not showing on lower graphics as it's along the same line
My guess is that it's by design for performance reasons.
It’s not working for me either. I even took out all of my mods and the effect still doesn’t work. It was working on my old computer, but on my new one it doesn’t which is odd.
