The option to send everyone home has gone

Title self explanatory. I have sims visit my house but no way of sending them home. The option has completely gone

live mode
never cc or mods
xbox

    It depends why the Sims visit. Invaders seldom have the option.

    Did you invite these sims over ? Did they ring a bell or just come in ?
