The royal envoy

Hello I'm having issues with the current event the lost legacies and the royal envoy. Each time it gets to contact the royal envoy Marina Corsair is Mia. I have used the cheat others recommended. It worked only once the last time but now it happened again and I used the cheat only for it to say sim not found. I tried clearing my cache, repairing the game to no avail. I don't want to miss out on its rewards but if it won't work then I'm afraid I will. Other are also having the same issue.  Please please pleeeeease fix this or recommended another way to work arround it. Thank you
