I've noticed lately the Schmapple Deluxe Kettle disappears every now and then. As of posting this I just rebought the kettle as well as the Sugar Cane Popcorn Popper and ChowBella Portable Pizza Oven. I don't know what causes these items to despawn.
Do you have the Sharing is Caring NAP plan active? Or do you have a maid?
Does your sim live in a residential rental and another tenant has taken it?
No to all of these suggestions. The only hired service in the household I am currently playing is a gardener. I always make sure that the Sharing is Caring NAP is never activated. I haven't used Residential Rentals for a long time due to how buggy For Rent is, so I stick to normal Residential lots.
Maybe a sim with the Recycle Disciple trait? Or kleptomaniac?
Does it happen after switching to a different household?
