Time left for scandal gets longer and longer

My sim lives in a tiny house in Bellacorde and got into a scandal for defacing the monument nearby. The longer I play in a sitting the longer the scandal becomes. It started being about seven days or so, but after playing for a few simdays it says that the scandal will last for another 64 days. A while later the timer was up to over a hundred days.

Time left for the scandal does seem to reset after turning off the game and coming back.

I don't have enchanted by nature, businessens and hobbies, my wedding stories, journey to batuu or luxury party.

The kits I have are blooming rooms, basement treasures, tea time solarium, storybook nursery, silver screen style, little campers, deset lux, castle estate, and book nook.

I do not play with any mods installed.
