Tucked buttoned shirts become 'untucked' when adding too many layer details

There is a tank top bodysuit from the base game (the first swatch is rainbow) that displays a visual glitch on male Sims that happens when you use accessories (like rings) or face details (like scars). When you add a ring, for example, the bodysuit changes to overlay whatever bottoms the Sims is wearing instead of tucking in. I am a PS5 player, so have no mods to speak of.
