Unable to Complete the Lost Legacies Sound of Emotions Quest

Hi guys, I'm working my way through the Lost Legacies quest tasks, but I've hit an issue. The next task that I need to complete is to 'Travel to The Blue Velvet Nightclub'.....issue is, I scrapped The Blue Velvet Nightclub ages ago and turned it into a Residential Rental. When I take my Sim to the lot where The Blue Velvet used to be, nothing happens (event task remains incompleted). How do I get around this one? I want to progress in the quest, but can't seem to get past this. Do I need to create a new save? If I do that, will I have to complete the quest tasks all over again? 

Just as a bit more info, when I completed the 'Blast from the Past' event a few months ago, there was a task which told me to go to Magnolia Blossom Park. Again, I had updated this lot and turned it into a Community Centre, but when I travelled there, the task completed itself, so not sure why the same thing isn't working this time 🤷🏼‍♀️
