Update broke my game (July 24th)

Same problems here! It's still broken, does anyone know when it'll be fixed? I want to play properly :(

i am also having this same problem! if i go to manage worlds, my game goes black and no UI (cannot even alt + f4 ._.); my game is completely broken after this update ;; hoping my save file isnt' messed up bcs i tried to save > manage worlds .. 

My game broke after I did the update, better exceptions started to tell me that UI cheats was broken so I removed it and looked for update and I opened the game and it kept saying UI cheats even though I deleted it. Then it’s telling me it’s **bleep** so I deleted and same issue. I have no teens in my household but still cannot access anything or even open the game options menu, I have to force quit every time.

How do we know if EA will fix this? I just want to play the game. This is really frustrating 

Hello I am having the same issues. Have you fixed the issue yet kr has EA come up with a way ti fix it. Just wondering 

Just EA being EA. All of these people have the same game-breaking issues because EA decided to add a bunch of random unnecessary patches, and they probably don't even care. It probably won't get fixed for AT LEAST a month. I'd love it if they would prove me wrong, but knowing EA, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Today is my birthday and I was going to ask someone to buy me a new expansion pack as a gift, but now I don't even want to bother since I know the game is broken and probably won't work correctly anyway. So sad that this is even something we have to worry about in the first place, especially with a company this big. It's pathetic. So emotionally exhausting 😮‍💨

I am having the same issue. At this point the game is literally unplayable and no word from EA when they are going to fix this... 

I'm going to lock this thread as it's turned into a collection between mods issues and things that have been fixed a while ago.

Please create a new thread if you still experience issue on a vanilla (non-modded) game.
