Vacation time - No option to take time off

When my lifeguard sims presses “take a vacation” from his phone, my sim completes the action but my sim is still forced to go to work. Taking a vacation day isn’t said on the job panel even though my sim has 17 vacation days. I even removed all my cc and mods and tried a new household. My lifeguard sim still can’t take a vacation day.

i'm having a similar issue to this and its even affecting custom careers too. the option is sometimes missing, and sometimes available. however, in instances when it is available and selected, the sim will talk on the phone for a few sims minutes, then the game clock will freeze even though the animation continues, and then the sim will briefly t-pose and reset just before a lastexception notification happens (i have MCCC and BE). This happens every time the option is selected, it never works and the sim always resets before finishing the phonecall :/

in case this is helpful, the career i was trying to take a day off from was the socialite career that comes with jane simsten's regency romance mod, but despite that the exception report always cites the culinary career as the issue, regardless of what career my sim has. so i think this glitch is specifically linked to that basegame career.

Most careers have a Take Vacation Day (career name) option on the Business tab of their phones. Undertakers are missing that option.

It has been reported and is listed as "under investigation" but it STILL is not on the Laundry List as of June 25th! It's also not just the Undertaker career. It's apparently a handful of careers that have this problem including the Reaper career, part time Lifeguard career and some others. I think the problem is that each career has a file that allows calling on the phone to take a vacation day, and these careers are missing that file. If I know how to fix it I would but I'm not a skilled enough modder to make a file from scratch like that. But I think a modder will have to fix it at this point.

This appears to be a bug with the Undertaker career. I saw someone mention it on Facebook. My Sim was a mortician and she couldn't take vacation days either, even though it shows she has a bunch stored up. No option on the phone ever showed up to take a day off. After she got to level 10 of the career I had her change careers because the bug annoyed me. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. I haven't checked if it's been officially reported, though. 

Hi I  started a new game yesterday after not having a lot of time lately to game. My sim is starting to get worn out from work so i went to take a vacation day and I could not find the option on the phone? Is this a new/old bug or what? the career is Grave Digger so I'm a little confussed. 😖 Help

Is there any kind of update about this bug? Please EA it's been 7 months
