vet clinics and businesses stopped working after latest update (Feb 24, 2025)

After the update on Feb 24, 2025, vet clinics and businesses stopped working for customers.  I sent sims to the vet and not vet staff showed up to take care of sick animal.  the kiosk worked to register the sick animal, but no staff ever showed up or were present.  There were also no other custonmers.

Same thing with businesses, whether made by maxis or myself, sim goes to retail business and there are no staff, no customers, cannot click on purchases except clothes.  If the sim I am playing actively is a business they own, it operates with staff and customers as usual, but once I go to manage worlds and select another sim to play, the business empties out just as my sim arrives.

Restaurants seem to be ok.

The retail and vet businesses were working fine before the update. My game is played on a Mac with all the latest updates, no mods ever, and most of the Maxis provided Add ons.
