[W] Werewolf Stuck in animal form

Yeah they have to do a full moon usually for them to be able to turn back or unlock that perk. It is a bit broken yeah, and fiddling with CAS often makes these things worse. 
Even when taking the werewolf cure it can botch their occult state. 

I am not familiar with the werewolfs mechanics but, are you saying that they cannot change back to human for 8 days (a full moon cycle)?  Right now  the full moon was 3-4 days ago, and occured when I was playing with another family.  Also, the rage gauge is permenantly full (but I never filled it, it was just full when I loaded the game), There are no rampage moodlet, or any moodlet at all. This only affects one of the 2 family member.

Yeah that is strange, usually if you make them rage they then turn human after the rampage is over. 
What I guess is that it was full moon when you were playing the other family and their first moon turn got botched somehow. The first time they have a full moon is kind of the starting point of the werewolf occult, they get a special moodlet and everything after that. Or their first rage out and turn into werewolf. This happened off screen sort of and it got botched somehow. But there's more issues with werewolves atm so that might be it too. I've played a lot with werewolves in the past and never seen this, but I wasn't playing with other families in the meantime so that might have helped.

I was able to fox it by entering a cheat to remove the occult attribute ( remove_trait trait_occultwerewolf ). The sims became human again. I then used cast edit to put her back in werewolfe. She strangely came back with her previous perks and attributes automatically. 

It now works as normal. One other small thing I noticed is that my occult sims never attend high school when I play with another family family. Such discrimination.

(Never cc or mods) I don't have my sim stuck in wolf form but I do have the same problem I think:  "It seems my rage/fury gauge was full, but the sims had no rampage or fury interracions, had a happy modlet and just behave like a human." << I have this exact problem.

Reading the previous answers, I think it's the same problem: My sim was bitten and just before the first time turning and rampaging (the fury gauge was a maximum), she died of starvation. She became a ghost but her needs panel didn't change into a ghost needs panel, but stayed a werewolf panel. As a ghost she could do wolf things like howl or run like a werewolf. 

I let her make a wish at the wishing well (romantic garden stuff) and ask for life. She was granted the wish and turned into an alive "wolf" again. In some weird way, she doesn't have any wolf moodlets or rampage moodlets like normal (because it got stuck just before rampaging cause she died before the first werewolf turn). She was just happy and had normal sim moodlets. She can do wolf stuff but she can't join the Wildfangs, only be a friend (which suggests the game doesn't really see her as a werewolf, because it's a human interaction). 

My other werewolf pacified her so the fury gauge went to zero. This didn't help. She's eternally stuck as a semi-werewolf who doesn't go into rampage mode with max fury. See attachment, it's been 2 simdays like this.

When I do the lunar howl, my sim will go into enraged mode. I click on regain control, and they regain control, but they're stuck in werewolf form with all the red effects from fury. This has happened a few times now.

was this your Sims first transformation ? When you say it happened a few times, you mean with different Sims or did they turn back eventually ?
