WEDDINGS IN WEDDING STORIES AND BASEGAME JUST SIMPLY NOT WORKING

Literally anytime I do a planned wedding event OR a base game wedding event my Sims (Engaged) will be in the same building, right next to eachother, by the arch and the arch will STILL say "engaged partner not nearby, invite to lot" like.... come on how many times are we fixing weddings? Im in the middle of starting the "Black Widow" challenge and I CANNOT even properly marry the fist Sim of the series. Relationship bar full, friendship bar high, but NOPE, too bad, No Wedding for Seance.
