Writer: Specific Sims not getting promoted

Career layoff is not working properly. My sim has all the skill for promotion, and their performance is excellent, but when the career layoff is on, they won't get promotion, in fact, nothing happens...

I tested it with another sim in another household and she gets promotions properly in writer career.

Did you create the Sim that's not working in CAS or ingame born ? Any occult ?

    I created the sim in CAS, and they are human, not occult.

      Did you try cheat promote them and see if it then works for the next level ?
