Black saving screen continuously after a race.
I'm on Series X. This happened with F1 24 as well but no other EA game I own does this. The fact it started happening on F1 24 prompted me to buy the newest game this weekend in the hopes it didn't happen again so to say I'm angry is an understatement. After a race it will go to the black saving screen but it lasts forever. After a few minutes I get a "highlight's reel failed to save" and then the game will sit on the black saving screen for as long as I let it. One time I left it an hour and went to do something else with F1 24. If I switch the game/console off and on again it will ask me to select a local or cloud save and it sends me to the start of the race I have already completed. These races are long so it's put me off the game because it's tedious. To find the exact same issue on 25 is infuriating when I paid for it this weekend. I don't know what to do. If I can't fix it I'll have to ask for a refund and I really enjoy these games so would like to avoid that. I have already tried reinstalling the game but that doesn't fix the issue. I don't know whether it's a cloud issue or my profile or whether it's a known bug that needs patching. Is there a way to manually save and avoid the auto save after a race? Or save immediately after crossing the line so I can avoid redoing races? Any suggestions/help is appreciated. I am playing F1 25 on the Xbox series S and after completing a 100 percent driver career race the game stutters from the podium screen, race highlights and fails to save the game. It either comes up with a fail to save message or gets stuck on the communicating with servers screen. This is very frustrating as I have just completed a full grand Prix this afternoon to experience the problem and had no option but to quit the game. When I restarted I discovered that I was taken back to the very start of the race so will have to complete the whole race again. I experienced this when completing back to practice sessions too, so it seems the game can't run for more then one hour before this occurs. This is a big problem. Please can this be looked at as a priority as this is a major issue spoiling my enjoyment. Are there any recommendations to stop this from happening? Patch notes for 1.07 say the Lucrative Alliance trophy issue is fixed but on PS5 I have tried unlocking lucrative alliance multiple times since the patch but the trophy is still not popping. when sponsor contracts come up for review I always select the more favorable counter offer option that has a sub 40% chance of success, it always gets rejected and then I’ve tried accepting the original, proposing a high probability counter which gets accepted but no trophy. I have tried this with existing sponsor, and new sponsor. I’ve noticed in other threads requests to share the save game data files. PS5 doesn’t have an option to download those save files from console or cloud saves.F1 25 - lost crazy amount of experience etc from Practice Session (PS5)
I just installed the recent upgrade and fired up my current driver career - I was in P3 did the session and the screen said I perfected all 3, yet somehow I lost; -2,052 in experience, -3,412 in Racecraft, -1,970 in Awareness, and -3,838 in Pace!? That seems absolutely absurd for doing absolutely nothing wrong? I had no crashes of any sort, simply did the practice programme and that's it. Currently, the Timing Tower at tracks like Spain and Japan only shows the numbers 1–0 without any driver abbreviations. This feels outdated compared to real Formula 1 broadcasts. It would be a big improvement if the tower was animated and displayed the actual driver abbreviations (NOR, VER, HAM) instead of just positions. I have been playing the My team career mode and recently noticed the pit box position doesn’t change based on the previous season constructor championship finishing position. I am in my second season now and I finished 8th in the constructors championship but still have to go to the end of the pit lane to box. This really needs to change ASAP as it can have a huge negative impact during a race especially if the pit lane is busy. It also ruins the immersion as it doesn’t make sense at all when a team is finishing higher and higher in the constructors championship to still have to drive the ENTIRE pit lane.there is the end of the season bug again in the latest version of FC 24 (on PC)
Hi Guys! Did you notice that there is the end of the season bug again in the latest version of FC 24 (on PC)? In player carrier mode I can't start new season at the end of the first season. There is no appropriate button. I use the EA app (on PC), and I set the automatic update option. I reinstalled the game, but it did not help. Do you know any solution? I'm encountering a recurring issue in F1 25 on PS5, specifically in Driver Career Mode. When I try to manually save during a race, I receive an error message that says: "Unable to save. Retry or continue without saving." Choosing “Retry” does not resolve the issue, and “Continue without saving” obviously skips the save entirely. Additional context: - Autosaves work fine outside of races - The issue only happens during races in Driver Career - I’ve already deleted and restarted the career, but the problem persists with the new save - I’m running the latest version of the game - I haven’t deleted saved data from storage yet, to avoid unnecessary loss The issue does not appear in other game modes and seems isolated to this specific scenario. Is this a known bug? Are there any suggested workarounds or planned fixes? I’d be happy to provide more info or test additional steps if needed.
