after update feedback - no tackling at all now!
This is genuinely very concerning! After the latest update, my players have completely lost the ability to tackle. They now feel permanently inactive defensively, almost as if tackling mechanics have been heavily delayed, disabled, or broken altogether. What exactly did you do, EA? The gameplay was already in a bad state before the update, but somehow you have managed to make it significantly worse. Players are no longer defending for me, all defending is gone! Pressing feels ineffective, tackles turn into jockey animations (as it was before but know 100% of the time), and basic defensive actions feel completely unreliable. It honestly feels like I am fighting against the game engine itself rather than playing football. My opponents however enjoy going through my attackers at any given moment from any angle! At this point, where is the bottom, EA? Somehow you always find a new low! What are you actually doing to the gameplay? Nothing from your pitch notes actually works!(PS5) – Reference #249697177
Hello, I am experiencing an account-specific issue with EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team on PlayStation 5. Today I successfully entered Ultimate Team and started claiming my match rewards. I claimed the first reward successfully. While claiming the second reward, the game froze completely. Since then, I have been unable to access Ultimate Team. Current symptoms: Ultimate Team gets stuck on the loading screen. Sometimes I receive a message saying I need to be connected to PlayStation Network and EA servers, even though I am connected. The FC Companion App sometimes reports that another session is active or it will not let me log in. Kick Off and Career Mode work normally. Troubleshooting completed: Restarted PS5 multiple times. Restarted router. Rebuilt PS5 database in Safe Mode. Changed EA account password. Tested internet connection successfully. Contacted EA Support via Live Chat. EA Support checked my account and advised me to post here. Support Reference Number: 249697177 Could an EA Community Manager please investigate my Ultimate Team profile or account synchronization? Hey, can anybody help? I quick sold manager before completing tasks for MArket, and now i can't play almost any game in Ultimate Team mode. Is there any other way to get a manager? I tryed with deleting saved games, uninstaled game but it won't solve problem. I suppose i could make another profile and than somehow merge it with primary one...but i just want to ask does anybody has any other idea, what to do?Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC
Throwback to 24.12.25, when EA’s automated detection system flagged thousands of PlayStation accounts for “balance transfer.” After 8–10 hours, they fixed the issue and unbanned everyone with a single click. Everyone thought the problem was resolved, the Wildcards promo continued, and the money kept flowing. Now, three weeks later, guess what’s happening on PC? Exactly the same thing that happened on Christmas Eve. Multiple accounts in my community have been banned over the span of just two days. Casual players, traders — you name it. I even tested the issue myself by hopping onto unused accounts, trading a few cards, and playing a couple of Rivals games. And guess what? After about 10 hours of normal gameplay, I got banned for literally no reason. We didn’t sell coins. Most of us didn’t use any external web app add-ons or bots. Just regular Weekend League gameplay with some trading on the side to improve our teams — literally using the in-game market as intended. My friends and I did some research to figure out what might have caused this. We reviewed the cards we bought and sold, as well as our profits and losses. Across all 14 accounts, there was exactly one common card purchased on every single account: Ibanez Winter Wildcard. The point of this post is to make this issue public and hopefully get it noticed by someone at EA. Many people have lost their time, money, and nerves. EA Help’s policy is based almost entirely on automated responses, so when you try to appeal a ban, you’re stuck resending the same message only to get rejected by a bot 24 hours later. It’s incredibly frustrating. I've already made a post on Reddit and X both got quite a big attention, but still no action by EA. So please, if you’re in the same situation, upvote this post. Hi, anyone’s game lagging like crazy specially when playing friendlies with a friend. My gameplay is fine during rivals and champions even when playing coop, but whenever i play friendlies against my friends i get crazy laggy gameplay like everything is a second slower plus the input delay, but works fine during rivals, champions and coop. We both play on PC with Lan cables and the wifi speed or connectivity is not an issue, is there any fix. This has been happening from the start. Hello EA Support Team, I am a returning player who recently purchased the game on June 6th. After investing over 90 hours and reaching Division 3/4 in Rivals, I am incredibly frustrated by what appears to be a systemic exploit and matchmaking flaw regarding upgraded (Evolution) players. I have spent a significant amount of time building a high-rated team with standard, top-tier players. However, I am constantly matched against opponents exploiting low-rated cards that have been heavily upgraded. Based on the gameplay mechanics, it seems the system still registers these heavily upgraded players by their original "Base Rating." This technical oversight causes two major issues: Matchmaking Exploit: Players bypass the fair matchmaking algorithm by manipulating their true squad rating. Gameplay Imbalance (DDA Trigger): Because the system falsely registers my opponent's team as significantly weaker, my high-rated players suffer from severe artificial nerfs. They become incredibly sluggish, physically weak, and completely unresponsive (passing and pace are heavily penalized), making the game feel entirely scripted in favor of the lower-base-rating team. This completely undermines the core concept of building an Ultimate Team and heavily penalizes players who legitimately acquire high-rated cards. I am on the verge of quitting the game if this architectural flaw is not addressed. I request that this be forwarded to the development and gameplay balancing teams to fix how upgraded player ratings are calculated in matchmaking and dynamic gameplay sliders. Thank you,
