EA "Sweatfest" 26. The gameplay is stale.

Why does it feel like I'm playing the same opponent over and over again? All they do is lose the ball and pull all their players back to defend. With 8 players defending, I have no space to make passes. They eventually win the ball back and hit me with a counter attack.

A bunch of them are using R1 defending and relying on their OP players to make tackles. I thought this game was supposed to reward manual defending. Why do my STs bounce off their CBs backs, but their STs run through my CBs? I saw my opponent sent his ST on a run (L1). I took control of my CB and ran back toward my goal. The ball comes through and my player gets to it first. He fails to take control of it and his ST runs through the CB's back and knocks him off the ball (challenge from behind is no longer a foul?).

How do I get my CDM to defend? Regardless of tactics (DLP, Holding, Center Half) he always far from the defensive line. The only way I can get him to get involved in the play is if I pull him back manually.

This game is boring because everyone is just sweating for wins.
