Colisseum and Spotlight Are Terrible - For Now.
This is a truly bad event in the current context. I think the Devs have forgotten that this is an entirely new game. Different characters, different currencies - hardly anything is the same. It was not even clear to me when I started my colosseum events whether attempts are cumulative or not. (FTR: They are not. Only one attempt counts per day, though it's your highest.) But this is not the worst part about this. I have no strategy for upgrading my new Luke toon, because I literally have no idea where resources will come from nor how many I should expect. Can I buy spotlight currencies? Well it turns out that the game doesn't tell you, though with some investigation you can find out that era mats are for sale. I haven't yet found any of the Era Level Currency for sale, but it might be tucked away somewhere, concealing itself. Then you have allies show up in your coliseum battle, but what Era Level are they? Do they increase with Lukes EL? What abilities are active? How much health do they have? I have no idea because they don't even pop up as borrowed units in the squad screen so I can inspect them before battle starts. The best I can do is use battle time to read ability descriptions, but his doesn't allow me to compare, say, physical damage and figure out which toons should use damaging specials first vs non-damaging specials. The abilities that we depend on in battle are deliberately concealed from us. So now I'm playing a game mode that does nothing to improve my EL - or at least doesn't do anything visible - with no idea what a "good" score for my level might be and no easy way to plan strategies before entering combat. Then let's talk about the Marquee event. Why doesn't this drop EL currency? I seen to increase my shards and thus my promotion level, but that has only the tiniest possible effect on play. I honestly couldn't see a significant difference between 3*/EL5 and 4*/EL5. An attempt at 3* reached 9% damage with a second attempt reaching 12%. The first attempt at 4* reached 15%, but the 2nd attempt reached 12%. How much of this is noise? How much is the promotion level? I have no idea bc I can't inspect stats and my number of attempts is necessarily going to be statistically insignificant. So I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know where I'm going, I don't know how to get there, and I don't even know if I'm making good, average, or below average progress. Congratulations, you've created a game mode that is the definition of useless button pushing. STRONG suggestions: Put out an actual tutorial that shows ppl what resources they're looking for, where to find them, what they should expect in rewards in the short term, and what resources that should ultimately provide in the longer term. Don't force us to rely on toons we don't have and can't inspect. The rewards are all arbitrary anyway. Just scale the power of the enemy so that we get with just Luke what you had been planning for us to get with Luke + the borrowed toons, and then delete the borrowed toons. This way we don't have to learn an entire new team at once, we can focus on learning the kit of just one toon at a time, and we are also able to see what we have. If ppl pay crystals for marquee shards, have the marquee events drop appropriate EL currency at higher tiers (beginning with the 4* tier). I want my characters to get better, and right now this doesn't show me any improvement at all bc shards matter so little compared to EL. So why isn't there a way to invest crystals toward better EL performance? The obvious way to do this is to make EL currency available to those who already invest in the existing shard-based marquee progression system. If EL currency isn't available for crystal purchase, then allow us to search for a way to get EL currency and then present the null result the same way you do when we're looking for shards for a Journey Guide character whose event isn't available right now. That way we at least get an answer and aren't spending our time fumbling through every row of every store seeing if you've hidden it somewhere. After all, why would you sell mats without selling EL currency? And if you're not showing us, then it has to be hidden someplace, right? This is a recipe for driving your players mad. Do not do this. Again, I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know where I'm going, I don't know how to get there, and I don't even know if I'm making good, average, below average, or bad progress. What you've created is a guarantee that your players will hate this. Who wants to play a game when you don't know what you're playing for and don't even know when you've won? This was clearly not ready for release.1.4KViews35likes25CommentsWell CG if your intention was to kill the game, I think you may have succeeded
This new game mode really is the dumbest thing CG has come up with, and that is saying something. i am on the verge of calling it a day. You may have made my decision easier so I do thank you for that. I have spent lots of money on this game over the years, but this may be the straw that breaks the camels back. Not going to spend money on a new currency just to level up a toon that I may never actually use (since I don't know how good or bad it will be), and cannot use him for 3 months. I was happy to wait the 3 months, but asking me to spend on an in game currency? Thanks but no thanks.753Views34likes11CommentsImperial Super Commando Bugged
This made me lose one GAC battle, hence an entire field. When the Imperial Super Commando attacks, either from his turn or out of his turn (assist, counter-attack), it looks like it's dancing some kind of parkour. I tried pausing the game, changing Auto ON/OFF, and speed, but nothing seemed to work.703Views25likes16CommentsNew LSB for people under 4m GP
CG_Meathead PLEASE reconsider the decision to limit LSB to people under 4M GP I started playing in June and have purchased other LSB, Crystals, Gear, etc. and now I'm being punished for spending $$ on the game........... I would love to buy some LSB that have not been available since I have been playing but they are not an option for me, I don't see them for purchase.Solved1.3KViews23likes34CommentsSecrets and Shadows Assault Battles crashing
Ally Code 444-127-734 game is crashing battle 1 of 8, Sith temple from Rebels is background. Sound is off, effects are off, using iOS 26.0.1, iPhone 14 Pro Max. Unable to play Challenge Tier 1 or 3. Simmed the others no issue. Relic 7 team, Hera lead, Capt Rex, Sabine, Kannan, Chopper. Level 15 5*mods, all omegas filled a few zeta.338Views20likes26CommentsRelic Delta "Response" Feedback
CG, No. Full stop, just no. I watched Ahnald and the feedback/response you gave to influencers to share with their communities. This is NOT what we wanted. Again, I will reiterate until I am blue in the face if I have to. SCRAP IT. Full stop. I'm sorry you are going to lose the money and time you put into something nobody wants, but that's the thing NOBODY WANTS THIS. The adjustments you made still stomp on the idea of strategy in this game. Again, ANY VERSION, of Relic Delta, HURTS the health of the game, period. I promise you, you will LOSE MORE by implementing this rather than scrapping it. However, what saddens me is that you truly are tone deaf. I can already tell that this WILL be implemented and you just decided to tell us so we could get all of our frustrations out now. I fear that you don't actually care about the feedback we are providing you and instead giving us the illusion we have a choice. You said in your statement that you knew this would be received poorly; so WHY? So why implement it, why even start the process of making it? It doesn't make sense. Other than money. Here is the thing though, I promise you, you would make infinitely more money from giving us what we actually want. Rather than forcing Relic Delta on us and expecting us to just fork over money to increase our relics so we don't have to strategize anymore. This is just sad, I'm watching a community I have been apart of be torn apart from within, because you want to implement something regardless of how it affects players. Myself and plenty others have given you so many alternatives and voiced our concerns like you asked us to by providing feedback. Please don't make us feel like we are screaming into the void. This will make SWGOH take a HUGE hit. Learn from Marvel Strike Force, scrap it. Please. Thanks.485Views18likes11CommentsKit Reveal: Morgan Elsbeth
UNIT NAME: Morgan Elsbeth ALIGNMENT: Dark Side CATEGORIES: Dark Side, Tank, Nightsister Key Attributes: Durable Tank that synergizes with Foresight and Stealth to help Acolyte and Spirit do big damage Provides tons of survivability with health and protection mechanics around Foresight and Stealth. Sets the stage for a new Nightsister squad Inspiration: The Ahsoka show! Especially the granting of the Blade of Talzin and the fights that take place between Morgan and Ahsoka. We really wanted to make a kit that shows off how powerful Morgan is and how important her Nightsister ancestry is to her. The animations for her attackers were inspired by the choreography of the aforementioned fight between Morgan and Ahsoka We were inspired for her to be the Tank in the new Nightsister squad from Thrawn’s request that she stall, and hold off Ahsoka while he escaped. Strategy Tips: Morgan has a reactive Taunt to allies gaining Stealth. Use Acolyte's Basic ability so Morgan can protect her allies! Or, if the target enemy had Defense Down whenever Morgan uses her Basic, it grants the weakest non-Tank Nightsister ally Stealth. Whenever a Nightsister ally critically hits an enemy, that enemy is inflicted with Defense Down, which helps Morgan give out Stealth on her Basic and deals more Damage on her Special 2 Omicron! For survivability, Morgan provides Health recovery and Protection recovery whenever a Nightsister ally Stealths or gains Foresight. Morgan creates an Offensively strong squad by providing Offense increases when she is Taunting or to a Nightsister ally who has Foresight and Critical Damage to a Stealthed Nightsister. FAQ: How do I acquire Morgan Elsbeth? Marquee starting on 11a Pacific July 18th. This uses the new Marquee structure. Does she have an exclusive datacron? No, however she will have an affix in an upcoming datacron set. Why does she prevent Nightsisters from reviving? We wanted this new Nightsister squad to feel distinct from the existing one that centers around Plague and revives. Additionally, this allowed us to put the power we wanted into Morgan without concern of lifting Talzin’s squad too high. Who leads this new Nightsister squad? The Great Mothers, coming soon Do I need Morgan for anything upcoming? Baylan Skoll’s Epic Confrontation requirements will require Morgan Elsbeth at relic 7 There will be no official Q/A with this Kit Abilities BASIC: Blade of Talzin Final Text: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and Morgan gains Defense Up and Protection Up (50%) for 1 turn. If target enemy is inflicted with Defense Down, the weakest other non-Tank Nightsister ally Stealths for 1 turn. If Morgan is Taunting, inflict target enemy with Vulnerable for 1 turn. SPECIAL 1: My Loyalty, My Life - 4 CD Final Text: Dispel all buffs on all enemies, and all Nightsister allies recover 50% Health and Protection and gain Defense Penetration Up for 2 turns. If Morgan is Taunting, all Nightsister allies gain 20% Turn Meter and Tenacity Up for 2 turns. SPECIAL 2: Let None Pass - 4 CD (OMICRON) Final Text: Deal Physical damage to target enemy, Blind them for 1 turn, inflict them with Armor Shred for the rest of the encounter, and call all other Nightsister allies to assist. If this attack defeats an enemy, Blind all enemies for 2 turns, which can't be evaded or resisted. While in Grand Arenas: Stagger target enemy for 2 turns, and Expose all enemies and inflict them with Buff Immunity for 2 turns. If target enemy is inflicted with Defense Down, Nightsister allies deal an additional 5% damage and the cooldown of their abilities is decreased by 1. All Nightsister allies gain Frenzy for 1 turn and Protection Up (50%) for 2 turns. UNIQUE 1: Preordained Destiny (ZETA) Final Text: At the start of Battle, all Nightsister allies gain 10% Critical Chance, Defense, and Max Health, 30% Tenacity, and 50% Max Protection. Whenever another Nightsister ally Stealths, they gain 15% Critical Damage for 1 turn, Morgan Taunts for 1 turns and all Nightsister allies recover 25% Health. Whenever a Nightsister ally gains Foresight, they gain 20% Offense for 1 turn and all Nightsister allies recover 25% Protection. Whenever a Nightsister ally critically hits an enemy, that enemy is inflicted with Defense Down for 1 turn, which can't be resisted. The first time each other Nightsister ally falls below 20% Health, they gain Foresight and Stealth for 2 turns, Morgan gains 20% Defense until the end of the encounter, and they and Morgan recover 30% Health and Protection, and gain 30% Turn Meter. Whenever Morgan is defeated, inflict all enemies with Health Down for 2 turns which can't be dispelled, evaded, or resisted, all Nightsister allies recover 100% Health and Protection, and gain 5% Critical Avoidance and Defense, plus an additional 10% Critical Avoidance and Defense per Relic Amplifier level Morgan had until the end of the encounter. Whenever Morgan Taunts, all Nightsister allies recover 20% Health and Protection, and gain 15% Offense until she loses Taunt. Whenever she loses Taunt, she recovers 5% Health and Protection and gains 10% Turn Meter. Defeated allies can't be revived. This effect persists through defeat.28KViews17likes23Comments
