Constantly losing connection to EA Servers
I am not sure what else to do, I play nhl 27 on ps5 and I lose connection to EA servers every time i try to play an online game. I have unlinked and relinked my playstation account with my ea account, changed my ea password, checked for any bans/suspensions (none), checked for updates on my system and game, checked my system date and time settings (set to automatic), NAT Type is Type 2, changed my DNS Settings, cleared my cache, used both ethernet and wifi, changed ethernet cables. Does anybody have any ideas? This is the only game I have issues with. I can even play the EA titles like NHL 25, FC 26, and Battlefield and have never had this issue.Superstar Mode
It’s really annoying that I can’t play superstar mode because the servers are down! I shouldn’t need to be on the servers to play a game by myself. What has happened to video games in this trash era of AI slop and data collecting? It’s truly ruining gaming. Not everything needs to be online. I just want to play the game with my couple hours of free time that I have. Back in the day if I paid money for a game I could play it whenever I wanted. I’m “glad” I spent $70 to play the game when EA tells me I can and not when I choose to. I know I bought it digitally so I don’t own it, I bought a license to play which is also ruining gaming. I’m 31 & I don’t play video games as much as when I was younger and all this garbage isn’t going to get people like myself to play more, it’s doing the exact opposite, but EA already has my money so what do they care? They don’t at all! I haven’t bought a madden since 2019 and I now remember why. EA has decided for me that I will not be buying another EA game in the future. EA games have been ruined by the requirements of having an EA account and having to depend on the servers being up just to play solo. The servers crash way more than acceptable and whenever there is server maintenance I can’t play single player modes at all.
Match Not Counting When Opponent Force Quits (ALT+F4 Exploit) – Seasons
FC 26 has had this issue since release, and I have been playing Seasons on PC from the very beginning. It used to happen occasionally (maybe once every 5–10 matches), so it wasn’t a huge problem before. However, recently almost every opponent does this. Especially when they realize they are about to lose, they wait for an in-game animation (corner kick, yellow/red card, goal celebration, penalty, etc.) and then force quit the game using ALT+F4 or by turning off their console. This causes the match to not count, and I am honestly very tired of this situation. Because of the 75 MB upload limit, I could only attach one video, but I have 4–5 more similar recordings on my computer. Since this has been happening so frequently lately, I have even started recording all my matches. I have lost at least 30 matches due to this issue. This is extremely frustrating, and I strongly ask for a proper fix as soon as possible. I paid $70 for this game when it was released. Are we really forced to play FUT instead? Please address and fix this issue as soon as possible.
