White screen on startup
Hello! I've been trying to tackle this issue by myself for now, but the problem keeps on persisting. My game looks like this when I try to open it after I updated it yesterday (have not been playing in months): I have tried repairing and uninstalling both the game and the EA app multiple times, but it didn't work. At times, task manager says TS4 is "not responding", sometimes the game doesn't show up on the list in my active programs at all. I can't close the game through the window, I need to manually force it to stop through task manager each time I try to open it. I have also updated my graphics drivers - one person suggested to check whether my graphic drivers are found by the application. This is what comes up in the config: Name (driver): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU Name (database): [Found: 0, Supported: 1] So, I guess it could be related to my drivers, but I did also uninstall and reinstall them after this issue came up, so idk. The rest of the games I play work fine, TS4 is the only one I have been having problems with. I used to play with lots of mods in my game, however, I moved both them and my saves into a different folder for the updating process. None of the mods I use are outdated and the problem doesn't go away even without mods. I have tried changing the fullscreen/resolution settings for the game through Options.ini as it was suggested to other people, nothing has changed. I have also ran an anti-virus through my files and nothing pops up, everything should be fine. Thanks in advance!
Game stuck on loading screen
Since yesterday, I can't play with my family in live mode. I can open the app, edit in CAS, even build, but as soon as I want to play it gets stuck on loading. I don't use mods/CC and never have. I reinstalled the game, deleted some cache, even tried to fix the EA app. It also tells me I do not own the fairy garden add-on. I can start a new game, but this is 10 years of gameplay and I want to access it. I have tried playing multiple saves going back a year. What else can I do? Feels like it's the update that broke it. Help?
Game is Crashing and Glitches randomly during game play
I updated my Sims game today and updated my Mods and I first started getting the error code ec:105 on my EA App and then when i was playing the game, it glitches where i can't click anything anymore or interact with my sims. I don't know what to do and it's really frustrating 😩. I attached screenshots of the issues as well.
Sims 4 crashing to black and then desktop
I preordered Enchanted by Nature, since the game installed and the patch with it, my game will run and then crash to my desktop. The game is still open in my tab bar, but if I play around 30 seconds to a minute it recrashes again. I completely restarted my sims 4 by renaming the old file folder name and launching the sims 4 for a fresh reboot of the game. It was still crashing. I then repaired my game, and something to note it the game thinks I do not own the enchanted by nature preorder bonus, and stops repairing the game until delete it from the queue. The past two days I have had to repair the game to play. This is annoying but doable. Today even after repairing it it still will not play normally and crashes all the time. Oh also something to note is that my game also REFUSES to connect to the gallery. This problem persists with and without mods. Can anyone please help me. Side note: The game does still crash without OBS installed, I only downloaded the software to show the crashes. Also I am sorry it only filmed a quarter of the screen but you can still see the game launch and crash. Finally I am on a Windows 10 computer.
[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13
I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits another lot and comes back to their lot about 3-5 minutes of playing with a different household member the game crashes. Also it keeps resetting my game settings turning back on tutorials and game play overlays and turning back on the music I have turned off in build mode and home screen have most packs except for For Rent, Lovestruck, Growing together, High School Years and Seasons
Gallery has red X & EA keeps giving me the Error code: EC:105
This happened a couple months ago as well but I just stopped playing because I had to start packing to move. I’m now in my new location and it’s still happening so it’s not my wifi. Removed mods and still the same. Cleared cache as well and did basically everything I could and it seems like it’s still happening. Anybody know any other way? It’s getting annoying.my cas has a grey haze over it and can’t click
i’ve made 7 sims now in cas i’ve literally spent all day on this and i tried switching my sims occult but my screen got a grey haze over it, and i can’t interact with it, however my sim is still moving in the background and music is still playing. my cursor still moves but i just can’t click anything. if i alt + f4 it says i can’t save in cas or save my sims to my library. is there any way to salvage this or fix this as ive spent hours on it i use mods and im guessing one is corrupted? thank yougame will not start after installing Nature pack
I play on pc, took out all my mods, and backed all my saves, then installed new pack yesterday and game will not start. I'll hit play on Steam and it appears to start launching and then after about 10 seconds will go back to showing the play button as if I didn't just press it. I have validated the files on steam and that did not seem to do anything, restarted my computer still nothing. Usually a mod would be the issue but they have all been taken out. Any help on this?
