After build/travel glitches
Everytime I exit build/buy mode or get to my destination after traveling, all of the options on the bottom of the screen disappear. i can't select anything, not even with the keyboard shortcuts. Also anytime I have an event or holiday or join my sim at work, the tasks bar in the top left corner is non-existent. Anyone else having this issue? I have deleted the caches, repaired the game in EA, and deleted any broken mods. HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!
Game crahses on loading since Oct 1 update
I'm experiencing constant crashes whenever I try to play the game. I've already cleared the cache, updated drivers, repaired the game, enabled DirectX 11, restarted my computer, removed all mods, ran it as admin, and repeated these steps multiple times. However, I keep receiving a pop-up that says "unable to start." I've also attached my Dxdiag and a screenshot of the pop-up. I even tried starting as a clean user by removing the Sims 4 folder, but nothing has changed.
Game Freezing While Trying to Exit
Well, I've heard many people are experiencing trouble with the game, having issues that include freezing game, etc.; I'm not sure if anyone is having this exact same issue as I am though; I've been building in game, I haven't been playing for a while so I'm not going on live mode, I just start game, load my save and go straight into build mode, everything was fine up until two or three days ago, I can build, save, etc., but when I try to exit game it just freezes the screen and I have to restart my computer, I've tried exiting to main menu and then exiting but I get stock in the loading screen and never make into the main menu. Can anyone help me? I won't access the game again because I can't restart my PC every time I go into the game 😔
My Sims4 Crashes on Startup
I have this issue for months. I did not pay enough attention to know if it was when a specific update came out, but I know it's been happening since at least June. My game crashes upon launch every time - it gets to the Sims4 and then completely crashes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/repaired countless times. I have tried launching from both EA and Steam. I used to play with mods, but when the crashes started I deleted all of them - so no mods to worry about. Reading through the other posts here, I've also tried checking my ConfigOverride, using a clean game folder, updating drivers, launching in windowed/fullscreen. I'm not sure what else to do ?! I have put hundreds of dollars into this game and 800+ hours, and I just want to play again. Please help! I'm at my wits end. I have attached my dxdiag. THANK YOU!
after the update the game does not start
This afternoon I played the sims without problems. As soon as I did the update I closed the game and I can't start it anymore. Only the EA app opens. Whether I click on the sims icon or if I try to start it from the EA app, it seems that the app closes and opens again, but the game doesn't start :_(( does anyone have the same problem? are there any solutions? i was working on a creation :-(((
Sims 4 not loading
I recently updated my game and I am unable to play. The game will not load. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game as well as the EA app and it's still not working. I've cleared my cache and still no game play. When I try to play it takes me back to the app. Can someone please provide some assistance on this?
My Sims 4 Keeps Crashing
I went from a laptop to a desktop. Ever since the update and change my game keeps crashing, without warning. I have uninstalled it several times, and I am currently playing with ZERO mods. I assumed I had a bad mod or cc.... even after removing ALL cc and mods, it keeps crashing. I attached a DxDiag... please help.
cant use expansion packs
hello hoping someone can help. ever since the update none of my expansion packs seem to be working. i can see they are there but comes up red message at the bottom about requirements and games updates. i have updated, uninstalled and started again. repair button also seems to always be showing no matter how many times i use it. also having issues with crashing. can anyone advise. i noticed missing content too
The sims 4 not updating at all
So, I've been trying to update my game ever since the new update came out, but it is stuck on preparing, calculating time, ever since then. I tried downloading the update the same day it came out as I always do and this has never happened before. I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the ea app, I'm at the point where I'm considering uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but will probably take hours to do so I don't really want do do it, also some thing very weird when it's in this state of eternal preparing the ea app just closes out of no where, like nothing happened, I don't get a pop up that the app crashed or anything it is just not open anymore. By the way my game is on a external hard drive, but there's nothing I can do about it cause is the only way I can play, because my computer dose not have enough space to download the game and I still be able to use it for anything els. I don't know what to do any more.
