Problems with starting The Sims 4
Hi everyone, I tried to start the game but it always displays a window (I'll attach a photo to this post) and The Sims 4 doesn't start. I tried to restart the game or repair it, but nothing has changed. I would like to avoid uninstalling the game to not lose the downloaded expansions, is there another way?
game crashes when placing lot from gallery or library
I had some problems with the reapers reward event that have been fixed. Now I encountered a new problem. When I go to download a lot from the gallery or place a lot from my library, the game crashes. I'm playing with no mods now and a just repaired game. No pics.
Sims Freezing, manage worlds not loading.
Since the completing the quests for week 2 of Reaper's Rewards, my Sims will not move (attempted to reset objects) and the time jumps 2 hours (back and forth) when switching the game speed. When leaving live mode and entering manage worlds, the game gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to manually force my computer to shut down to get it off my screen. I repaired the game files and had the same issue. What can I do to fix this and is anyone else experiencing this issue? I have no CC or mods installed, so that is not an issue.
Game Crashes 10 - 20 minutes into playing
My game keeps crashing about 10-20 minutes every time I play. The amount of time it takes to crash is not consistent but it almost never makes it to 30 minutes. It is starting to make the game unplayable. I have done my best to save very often but I lose whatever has happened since the last save. It give no warning, just stops and closes. Almost like I hit the save and exit button but its not saving and I am in the middle of playing. Its seriously becoming unplayable and I am not sure what to do. - Side note I did report it on the EA app.
My Sims 4 Keeps Crashing
I went from a laptop to a desktop. Ever since the update and change my game keeps crashing, without warning. I have uninstalled it several times, and I am currently playing with ZERO mods. I assumed I had a bad mod or cc.... even after removing ALL cc and mods, it keeps crashing. I attached a DxDiag... please help.Game freeze after a few minute of gameplay
Hello super recently (this week) my game freeze randomly after a few minute of gameplay. I have to restart my computer when that happen because it freeze everything. it was working fine before the update I also took a new antivirus recently (avira) so maybe its related ? I play with MCC and UIcheats but never got problem with them before and they are up to date. I saw youtubeur lilsimsie having the same problem as me but not as frequent, the game for me is unplayable because few minutes after I'm in game, it always freeze. I did the procedure for dxdiag. Its not my pc it can run Helldiver2 smoothly. have a nice night.
Infinite saving/loading screens
I originally started having this issue after the September update and saw other people were having the same issue and followed all the advice given. updated all mods removed all CC started a new save (with no CC) removed off-the-grid lot types switched back to DX9 Unfortunately, none of these worked so I decided to wait until the next patch and try again. After the October patch, I updated everything and it's still happening. Whether I'm loading/travelling with a family, exiting CAS, or saving when building on a community lot. I'm completely out of ideas of what I can do at this point; I have plenty of space on my PC and while loading can be slow sometimes, I know that's because I have quite a few packs and CC and I've never minded. But the infinite screens are getting too much, I can't play the game at all without running in to one and I end up losing any progress I've made. Really hoping someone can help or this bug can be lessened at least in the next update. 🤞
UI not working in game
For about 2 months now my game doesn't work, I can load into any saved and even create new ones but when I get into the game I can't click on the character and none of the ui works, the time doesn't change, I can't speed up the time, use and of the tabs like the 'needs' nothing seams to be working. I've uninstalled the game and redownloaded it, restarted my xbox but nothing resolves the issue, the game is unplayable.
