Crashes on Mainmenu
I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod. After updating, it crashed upon launching the game from the EA app on my windows laptop. I immediately backed up saves and tried repairing, and rebooted. This led to the game launching and loading a bit, but before it loads into the main menu, it crashes. I figured it automatically turned off mods, but I deleted the script mods which I assume would've been broken anyway, just to make sure. This had no change and still seems like it's about to load the main menu but then it closes. I'm inclined to think the update is causing this, but want to know if it's a shared experience or isolated on my part. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Game crashing - entertainer career
Since the last update I can't join my sims for her auditions, my game crash every time. I can choose to join her, but arriving at work my game crash. I play with mods and CC, but I try after remove all, and the issue is the same. I also try to fix the game via ea app but it doen't work Thank you
Why can't my sims sleep?
My sims are tired and want to sleep but everytime I send them to bed they always act like they already slept but they are still tired, and it doesn't happen on one save, it also happens on two of my saves! My sims are tired and they want to sleep but they can't do it because they keep skipping the task no matter the energy they have. Please fix this. For the last week, my game will not open my old saves. At first they wouldn't even come up when I opened the game (even after I removed the original sims folder to my desktop and copied the save files in one at a time), but once I finally created a new game they would appear, but the icons would be greyed out. If I clicked on the saves, it would automatically open the new game rather than my old save. Including a screenshot below. I've tried repairing my game, restarting my computer, and clearing out my computer storage and making sure all the saves were downloaded (not on the cloud). I've tried restoring older saves of my game, all to the same effect. I don't & have never downloaded any CC or mods. Does anyone have any tips? If your game is crashing after recently updating it please try the two most basic and fundamental steps to resolve it before posting: Repair the game in EA App Test a new clean game. Don't just cherry pick a few files and folders you think you should remove, such as just the Mods folder, or a few random Mods, or any old cache file, or a couple of screenshots, test a completely new, clean, vanilla game. My Sim is incapable of doing anything
I built a home; there's nothing in the way. I have more than enough space for routing. When i click on the floor, a prompt doesn't show for her to walk, run, or teleport over. She can't cook or sit on the couch. It keeps exiting out of each task i ask her to do. Please help. She autonomously got into the pool and i couldn't get her out and had to delete the pool before she died of the cold.Potters Splay
When trying to find the version of the lot that appears when you start the game, one of the possibilities literally freezes up my game and makes it unplayable. The builder is listed as Alixparsons When sorting for potters splay, and asking for most popular It is the 4th listed. If you open the lot, it immediately locks up your PS5. The lot lists a price of 999,999 Even if you go to Manage Worlds, you can no longer select any lot to open. Please fix THIS.
