We already have the UI with cats and dogs, but there's no way there's all these other things, but my sims still can't have heterochromia? I have two different color eyes myself, and making my sims is just kinda eh, I feel like if there's vitiligo, stretch marks, moles, soon to be tattoo layering, ect. There should be heterochromia especially since the UI is already in the game.

I love how pets can have heterochromia, but what about humans and occults? I think it would be amazing to not only add heterochromia for our human-like sims, but also add different types of heterochromia. For example: Central and Sectoral heterochromia. Central is where the middle of the iris is a different color than the outside, where sectoral is when different parts of the eye are a different color. It would be awesome if this were added!
I agree for sure that they should add this. The possibilities would be huge: in addition to just normal heterochromic Sims, we could even do things like having occult Sims with one "mundane" eye and one unusual-looking one. And like you said, they've already done it with pets and have the UI and everything, so that might save them at least some trouble in adding it

1) humans (...) were not designed to have it and thus the game doesn't "support" it, while animals were designed to have it and the game does.
2) There's only space on the texture sheet for a single eye, and the texture gets copied to both of a sim's eyes.
This means the eyes colors can't be different from each other since they repeat itself in both sides so that's a no for complete heterochromia, but a maybe for sectorial heterochromia, if we ever accept having both eyes having the same sectorial detail.
We have heterochromia for animals but not for sims...
