your update broke my game
bruh... i have been playing sims for twenty years now so definitely know a thing or two about everyones beloved game. And never in my life have i had an update break my game as badly as this one has. i run zero mods. i only have custom content like clothes and furniture downloaded from trusted sources. i was even careful and removed my mods folder before the update but my game keeps freezing up and or crashing. my task manager says its using over 4k MB of resources to run! I know IT quite well and that is ungodly! what in the world did yall do to my comfort game?? this is such bull crap :( :(
Update Frustration
I love the Sims but with every single update I have to fix my mods. For us who have A LOT of mods it can take hours. It makes me take a break from the game because i get so frustrated lol. I don’t know if there is an easier way to fix this issue but I feel like the Sims 4 should do something about this. None of my build mode items are there but are still all in my mods folder. Also, the build mode menu is all screwed up! From what I have read and seen almost everyone has this issue. It is very unfortunate.
San Marina is Finished and Available for Download
San Marina, a Sims 3 world I've been working on for a very long time, has been released. San Marina is huge, with 212 lots and 200 residents. The optimal settings are AMD Ryzen 5 6400 + AMD Radeon RX 6400 + SSD + 8GB. However, I was able to also get this to run on an older machine with AMD Athlon II X4 +Nvidia 1030 GT + 8GB + HDD and with all EPs installed. Some pictures:
Infinite saving/loading screens
I originally started having this issue after the September update and saw other people were having the same issue and followed all the advice given. updated all mods removed all CC started a new save (with no CC) removed off-the-grid lot types switched back to DX9 Unfortunately, none of these worked so I decided to wait until the next patch and try again. After the October patch, I updated everything and it's still happening. Whether I'm loading/travelling with a family, exiting CAS, or saving when building on a community lot. I'm completely out of ideas of what I can do at this point; I have plenty of space on my PC and while loading can be slow sometimes, I know that's because I have quite a few packs and CC and I've never minded. But the infinite screens are getting too much, I can't play the game at all without running in to one and I end up losing any progress I've made. Really hoping someone can help or this bug can be lessened at least in the next update. 🤞

So I figured I'd offer my services to any of you here - Link me to the CC you want that looks wonky in game and I'll repair it and send you the fixed version. :smiley: CC I can fix Clothing Shoes Accessories I haven't learned how to work with hair, so don't send it to me. :lol: Problems I can fix CC items enabled for age groups they shouldn't be enabled for. (CC that doesn't increase in size to accommodate sims larger or smaller than default size). And just some final notes: Firstly, I won't go through adfly or similar links to get CC. If what you want fixed goes through adfly, please link me the simsfileshare/mediafire/dropbox/etc link and not the adfly link. And, secondly and finally, I will do whatever it takes to fix this stuff for you guys. I know how frustrating it is to find CC like this that is obviously broken, but released anyway. Sims 4 isn’t working after new update
My game hasn’t been working since the 10/22 update (weird thing is that the game made me update it twice) Whenever I go to start a new game the screen turns white and does nothing else, I haven’t tested but I’m pretty sure it’s the same for CAS When I open profiles in the relationship panel nothing shows up and my sim’s current mood and stuff panel is blank When I enter Build/Buy everything is fine but when I exit it seems like I’m stuck in build/buy mode and then my game crashes I’ve updated my mods so I don’t know what’s happening Update: I don’t know exactly what happened but the game updated again and now it works…I also updated a mod that I forgot I had
[LD] Kids With Grim Aged Up with Scrunched Faces
Ive been playing a new save since Life and Death came out, no issues up until recently. My sim had twins with the grim reaper, and since aging them up to a teen (this might've been an issue before but i didn’t notice it until they became teens), their faces and bodies change after going through a loading screen (quitting or traveling). Their jaws move as far up as possible, their ears and eyes get smaller, their waist, legs and shoulders go as far in as possible.. It’s ONLY my teens as i've edited another teen (plus have an adult in the household) and no issues.. Ive repaired my game, updated mods, tried saving them to the gallery/re putting them in my game, resetting them, turned mods off and had the same issue, NOTHING is working! Not sure if maybe its a glitch having to do with them being Grims kids..? added before and after pics to see the difference.. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
