Playing the new Lost Legacies quest and was wondering....

So, I, like many other people on here, have been playing the new lost legacies quest. I love it! It's super fun, and I'm having a blast following the drama. The quest rewards are great as well! However, I was wondering about some of the pack exclusive rewards. I don't have the life and death expansion pack, or the Enchanted by Nature pack to get the memorial display table, or the glittering fairy princess gown, but want to know if I would still receive the unlocked quest item later on if I bought those packs down the line.
My question to whoever may have more insight is basically this:  Are receiving the items in game dependent on owning the pack at the time of unlocking the quest reward item? Or is it just credited to your account, and you can still get the in-game item later when you buy the pack the exclusive reward is linked to?

Hope my little query isn't too confusing, I've just been wondering about it for a while since the first week of the quest, and wanted to know if anyone had a better clue of how that all works than I do. Thanks a lot, and have a lovely day!
