F1 24 Quality of Life improvements
Hi guys, now, I am well aware that F1 25 is already here, and I'm currently having fun with it in Driver career with Lewis Hamilton, but I want to put the spotlight on F1 24 for one last time. Now, I don't know if EA SPORTS is familiar with the term "Quality of Life improvements", but what this means is updating the game after the game is technically dead, with a couple bugfixes that were possibly overlooked back in the day. What I would do as Quality of Life improvement is the following: Fix the DRS sign in Monza. Ever since the game came out, the DRS sign on the start/finish straight in Monza is misplaced, placed at an earlier spot than the actual DRS zone. For someone like me who plays cockpit cam without the OSD, I can't tell where the frick the DRS zone is, and that costs me a lot of time in quali and the race. Fix the ERS management program in Practice. When I played Practice in Miami, I was not able to get the purple energy delta despite using zero energy with zero engine braking. Like, what the heck? The delta should skyrocket into heaven and not zigzag across the heat map. If anything, the green delta should always be 50% remaining ERS, with 100% being the maximum score, and maybe 80% for purple. Add former F2 champions to the icon roster. I want to give drivers like Felipe Drugovich and Nyck de Vries a shot in F1. Especially Felipe deserves a drive, and Nyck de Vries shouldn't have been sacked in 2023. Maybe Mick Schumacher would do a decent job in your team as well. Add career options like driver lineup and race calendar customization. Frontier has done so with F1 Manager, and it makes the start of a new career always so cool. You can say let Hamilton start at McLaren, put Norris in a Ferrari, drop Verstappen to Sauber, or even give Hulkenberg a drive with Mercedes. And as for the race calendar, you can say start in Brazil, end in Suzuka, play Bahrain and Jeddah close to the summer, endless possibilities... F1 24 was an amazing game, but it's not perfect like F1 2020 was. But with these things, if they make it into the game, I might actually change my mind. And also, it would be awesome to have for F1 25 if it works like it should. Let's hope for the best. Nico
F1 25 SUGGESTIONS
Hello everyone! I'd like to make some suggestions for F1 25: Allow late drivers to unlap themselves during a Safety Car: I'd like to suggest that the late cars should be put into a ghost mode so that they can get back into the queue. Display a real time ranking on the track: This would allow all drivers to know if the driver in front or behind them is on the same lap, like in the game Assetto Corsa Competizione. In spectator mode: change the color of the drivers in the ranking according to the events: For ex: yellow when there's an accident, blue when they're under the blue flag. Thank you and 🤞
F1 24 VR absolutely Disappointing
Pc specs: i9 13900k 64 gb ddr5 6000mhz rtx 4090 oculus quest 3 tell me, how the hell can this absolutely ludicrous PC not run this game at 72hz at all low. The game looks like a smeared mess. I play automobilista 2 and wanted something more sim like. Talk about disappointing. At least I bought it when it was on sale. I just cannot believe that EA advertises VR support and then it looks like a game from 2011 in the headset. What a disappointment
Soundbug Multiplayer Lobby
Hey guys, every now and then we have the following problem in our F1 league: During the race, there is a sound bug that affects a large part of the lobby, sometimes even the whole lobby. The race runs normally until one driver after another loses the sound of the game. I am attaching an example video of me from the point at which the error occurs. I play on a PS4 Pro myself. From the moment the error occurs, I have 0 sound and the sound of my PS party is muffled, tinny and almost impossible to understand. Does any other league/player also have this problem? Can EA help us understand why this error occurs? Also in F1 23/22 I had these sound failures from time to time. PLEASE devs if anything can you remove the smoke from online races?? F1 24 League racing is unplayable because everyone is "locking up" causing this smoke to the point where you cant see anything into the corner which lets to damage and crashes. you guys made it worse with the patch on 24 so PLEASE REMOVE IT for F1 25!Career mode does not have a menu
It seems like F1 career mode is supposed to have some kind of menu in between races where you can upgrade the car and see team offers and such, however my game does not have anything like this and instead goes from the end of one race straight to the qualifying of the next. I am currently in F2 and would like to figure this out to move up to F1.
