Game Crashing With Unknown Error 0:85009S
Hi everyone, A couple of days ago I decided to do a clean install of Windows 11 and installed all the necessary drivers. When I install and play Battlefield 6, after about 5 minutes the game kicks me out of the session with the error code “Unknown Error 0:85009S.” This is getting really frustrating because I’ve tried pretty much every suggestion I’ve found from other users, and nothing has worked so far. Here’s a list of what I’ve already tried: Clean install of Windows 11 Clean install of Windows 10 Clean install of Windows 11 LTSC Restarting my internet router Using my phone’s internet connection Clean boot via MSCONFIG Reinstalling Javelin Running both BF6 and Javelin as administrator Flushing DNS Changing DNS servers Disconnecting peripherals Allowing BF6 and Javelin through the firewall Opening ports on my router I’d really appreciate any help. I used to play without any issues, but since around Saturday, the 28th I haven’t been able to stay in-game for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked (cm edit - updated title for vis)Solved11KViews24likes240CommentsMissing in game purchased content with Battle Coins
Yesterday, on Playstation 5, I purchased two items from the store with Battlecoins, specifically, "Toxic Patrol" and "Poised Strike" and it's been over 24 hours and the items and skins are still not in my inventory. I did all the steps such as restarting the game, restoring licenses, etc. Spoke with a rep on the chat and they said the techs would fix it ASAP citing it as a bug but that's not reassuring. There was no case number provided and I was told just be on the lookout and i couldn't be directly contacted about this matter. The content is expensive. Can I get help, insight, or has anyone else experienced this? This has never happened and past purchases have been very consistent.Slow update download speed today EA app!
im getting my max speed getting the update today at 9m/s but it keeps dropping and going up all the time and is taking forever to download! Its not a problem with my internet, i have tried clearing the EA app cache and also changed my dns servers and and also restarted the router and it is the same!Labs missing from EA Library
Discord and EA accounts are linked. Can't log into discord because it's overwhelmed. NDA has been signed for 4 months. Nothing in my Steam or EA account. Old workshop emails just bring me to Workshop dashboard where I see all my info still up to date. And then you don't reply to emails so we need to discuss on a public forum.92Views1like2CommentsBF6 - battlefield 6 warning your save files are corrupt
I'm going to be very honest here because at this point I'm completely out of patience. EA support on this issue has been extremely frustrating, and I want to clearly explain why this is not a single-PC error or user error problem. I have 3 gaming desktops and 1 gaming laptop in my household. I travel frequently for work and I use my laptop to play games during my downtime. The first issue I encountered was when I first purchased Battlefield 6. Upon installing the game onto my gaming laptop I immediately ran into a driver compatibility issue between the integrated and dedicated GPU's on the laptop. I tried for a while to find a working fix and nothing worked, It was annoying but fine. I moved on and accepted that one. I then installed Battlefield 6 on my primary desktop and immediately hit a secure boot issue, I found a resolution, and the game worked perfectly for months. Installed the game on every desktop in my house no issues for months. Then the real problem started, One desktop randomly started showing the Battlefield 6 Error message "Warning: Your save files are corrupt" I tried every solution available online that I could find. Nothing worked. Eventually, I got annoyed and completely removed the game and gave up on that machine. I then switched to my older desktop ( Gaming PC now a guest PC) Again, the game worked fine for about a month or two. Then, out of nowhere the game crashed the entire computer mid-match. After rebooting, the same issue appeared "Warning: Your save files are corrupt" And once again I tried every available fix I could find online. And nothing worked. I did a full uninstall of the game, full removal and reinstall of the EA App, Full removal and reinstall of EA anti cheat, Disabled all overlays, I even tried adjusting the Window Windows exploit protection settings, Tried verifying files and repairing files in Steam, Cleaned shader caches and did clean installs. NOTHING WORKED. Absolutely nothing has fixed this issue at this point, my laptop can't run the game due to GPU driver conflicts that EA doesn't have support for. I also now have two desktops that can't run the game either because of the same error. While I genuinely want to enjoy this game. I have been patient. I accepted some of the issues on my end. I accepted reinstalling and troubleshooting. But when a game becomes completely unplayable across three separate machines with no fix insight, That's beyond frustrating. Is it too much to ask for. 1 A clear explanation of what the cause of this error is 2. Confirmation whether this is tied to cloud save or an anti cheat error or account data error and 3. An actual resolution path not generic reinstall steps. Because right now, Battlefield 6 is ineffectively unplayable in my household and I have run out of patience and things to try.1.3KViews3likes7CommentsUnable to play bf6 multiplayer on ps5 after last update in March
After the last update in March 2026, that nobody asked for or wants in a FPS, I'm unable to play multiplayer on PS5. Everything works just fine, but when I'm getting brought into a match, the screen goes black and I'm booted back to the lobby. Its frustrating as hell as I haven't been able to play for days. The game isn't cheap either. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling(twice now), restoring license, restarting the game, restarting the console, etc. Nothing works. I know I can't be the only one. Please fix this ****. I would love to play the game I paid for. Thanks. You're playing count is gonna keep going down cause you keep making all the wrong moves. Update - I've seen posts of this also happening on PC73Views0likes0CommentsDICE, you've reduced fixed-wing survivability to zero
I've told you so many times to be reasonable with jets and stop making these crazy changes! Now it's become a children's game! AA rounds can lock onto you even at low altitudes, you can't shake them off at 1050m altitude, you can't shake them off behind cover—do you want to turn planes into infantry fighting vehicles? And you've even strengthened anti-aircraft artillery. Do you want users who drive your vehicles to never like this game again? I've been advocating for you for a long time, have you even listened to me? 700,000 daily active users, now only 20,000—you think it's because of skilled players? Isn't it because you've infinitely reduced the game's depth and created an unreasonable upgrade system? You've misunderstood; No generation of Battlefield has relied on an upgrade system to retain its player base. . This is incredibly disappointing! Do you know how to solve this? Either weaken the AA missiles, or bring back the mechanism that allows you to shake off missiles at an altitude of 1050m! Otherwise, you will lose me!!! I am one of the most passionate Battlefield players in China!!! [CM edit: removed inappropriate wording]40Views0likes0CommentsPC EA App - Battlefield 6 Updates Failure
I have an EA Pro membership which I'm about to cancel. Every time there's a BF6 update it takes a minumum of 3 hours to update the game, and I cannot consistently recreate a method of success for getting the game to update either. I've Tried: • Clearing cache through App repair • Deleting EA Folder in %AppData%/Local/Electronic Arts • Deleting everything in %ProgramData%/EA Desktop except the folder iteself • When seeing download icon within game UI (for multiplayer or Redsec) initiating download from there • Repairing App • Reinstalling game EVERY SINGLE TIME I employ any of these methods, a reboot leaves me at EA App screen which either shows a downloding progress zero status which eventually times out, or loads showing that I don't even have BF6 installed. It will clear after I reboot, but often it DOES NOT DOWNLOAD CONTENT. Sometimes it will install one batch (like RedSec) but not the rest queued. So I reboot and try again. Sometimes it works, sometimes not I've been playing BF ever since BF3 and have remained loyal to the brand (even after 2042 debacle, which says a lot). After this absolute GoatF**ked update issue and the epically horrific customer support at EA (these people send emails asking if their tickets have been resolved despite never reaching out to troubleshoot the issue and then auto close the tickets) I'm wondering if I should just delete the game and move on to another franchise. I've enjoyed the content but it seems pretty anemic. Given the dropping player counts and the fact it takes me a day to update 15 gbs worth of content when it would take 3 minutes on steam, maybe I should be back to Arma? Has anyone found a fix for this issue? If so please share, as EA simply asks their tech support to recycle their worthless troubleshooting FAQS. Had any of the solutions ever worked, I wouldn't be complaining here. Thanks in advance for advice. Can’t install latest update PS5
Hey, my ps5 can’t install the 4 of the files from the latest update for battlefield 6. I’ve cleared the cache, database rebuild, deleted the game and reinstalled the disc. Error code is ce-100005-5. Anyone got any ideas? Weirdly it’s stopped me being able to battlefield 2042 and some of the files are shared? I’ve deleted 2042 & the beta but battlefield 6 still won’t install the latest updates.199Views0likes3Comments
