Technical Issue with STEAM and EA App
I can't play the games I purchased from Steam. When I launch them, the usual startup prompts appear (EA App opens, Steam validates), but then the process stops with no error message. The game never actually launches. I think this may be due to purchasing an EA Play Pro membership, which removed my Steam-purchased titles from my EA library. I purchased Madden 26 via Steam. I also had an EA Play Pro membership, which may have caused a conflict by altering how the EA App reads ownership. I can download the game via Steam but cannot launch it because of this conflict. Since I own the game on Steam, and the EA App is required to launch it, I’m unable to play something I paid for. Re-purchasing via EA Play Pro isn’t a viable solution when I already own the game. These are the steps that I've done and still had the same issue still there. EA Support Steps Taken: Clear EA App Cache Open EA App. Click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner. Go to Help > App Recovery > Clear Cache. Restart both the Steam and EA App clients after clearing the cache. Run EA App as Administrator Fully close the EA App. Right-click the EA App icon. Select Run as administrator. Try launching the game again from Steam. Check Internet Connection Confirmed I’m hardwired in with a 500 Mbps connection (no Wi-Fi issues). Reinstall EA App Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App. Tried launching Madden 26 from Steam again — issue persists. Validate Game Files on Steam Right-click game in Steam > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Attempted Repair of Game via EA App This option was unavailable because the EA App showed the game as owned through Steam. The 3-dot menu only offered “Manage” and “Last Played,” no "Repair" option. Persistent Issue: After performing all the above steps, the issue remains: Steam begins validating the game files. EA App opens and says “Preparing Game…”. Steam validation completes. Nothing happens. Game doesn’t launch. If I click "Play" again, the same cycle repeats with no error message. I cant play any Madden Game bought from Steam its very frustrating because Steam points its finger to EA and EA points their finger to Steam. I'm sitting in Limbo without any true help to find out what the issue is. Can anyone help me find a solution to this? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? Started as a failure to launch, now after 4-5 EA advisors and all the things they have done on their end as well as all the things they have had me do on my end including a clean boot. I was getting a notification that I dont own the title, now i am getting a game ownership disabled or deleted message after being asked to uninstall and reinstall not only the EA app multiple times, clearing the cache, running as administrator, and then uninstalling the sims 4 game itself, to trying to download again to only get the ownership disabled or deleted, to be asked to uninstall again to have a corrupt file thats preventing the uninstall only to be told to do a repair on a game that isnt even downloaded. attaching screenshots of the mayhem in order . fixed the last one, now i am back to game ownership disabled or deleted, and now they have sent another whatever to to whoever to fix the " bug" and I am probably out the money i have spent on 55 sims games and add ons.[LANGUAGE] Language defaults to Czech on every launch - EA didn't offer any fix
The game always launches successfully, but it automatically defaults from Russian to Czech without my consent. Recently, it has also been quitting on its own quite often, causing me to lose progress. I tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but I can’t select English to avoid these glitches with Russian. When reinstalling in Russian, the issue of defaulting to Czech still persists. I can’t help but wonder if this is connected to the removal of Russian as a region—it almost feels like a deliberate move by EA to create problems for Russian players. 💢💢💢 I contacted Support, but the only solution they offered was to change the base game to English—without changing all my expansions to English as well! They haven’t provided any real fix, even though my current region is the UK. At the very least, I should be entitled to play in the language of my current region, especially since I purchased the base game and most expansions in the UK at UK prices. I genuinely don’t understand why such a basic feature—the ability to change the game language—is not available in the first place.inst-3-1920, can't install EA Ap
EA app won't install as of recently, gives error inst-3-1920 at the end of the installation. Tried the following: - Running installer as Admin - Removed files in %TEMP% - Updated DirectX and MS Visual C++ - Removed all old EA and Origin files in ProgramData, Program Files, and App Data. - Restarting PC after every steps above - Ran sfc - Check multiple videos and forums, no solution. Some claimed it was temp issue, but that was 2 YEARS AGO. Pls help.135Views4likes2Comments[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.Solved11KViews37likes300Comments
