Use a different app
Don't buy games from EA, Its not worth it. The Launcher is clunky and breaks all the time. It requires constant fixing and updates every other time you open and it doesn't have a real offline mode so you have to be connected to the internet and deal with the updates to play. It is just not worth the time and effort. If you can buy the game from a different place, even if its a bit more expensive, just do it.
FC 27 Pre-order Pre-download EA app issue

EA app: Couldn't connect to servers
"Couldn't connect to servers. We ran into a problem, but a quick restart should fix it. Restart app." Restarted multiple times. Tried App Recovery. Nothing worked. Also get: "Your error report encountered an error. We are aware of the excruciating irony of this moment. Bear with us, and try again a little later."
'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? EA app has not let me download enchanted by nature
I am unable to download enchanted by nature. on the internet it says I dont own it while i do in the app. I went for a live chat support and they kicked me out after 6 hours in quene and wont let me back in with my ticket. It says its open in another window it isntEA app acts like there are no installed games
I can't get the EA app to recognize my installed games. I got a new computer and used specialized software to move everything from old to new. Then in the EA app, I went to settings > downloads > install location to make sure it was looking for the games in the right place. Then I used help > app recovery, restarted the computer, and tried app recovery again. The EA app still does not recognize that the games are installed, so I am currently completely unable to play all EA games. While most games can be re-downloaded if there's no other option, it's important that I keep my current install of the Sims 3; I'm using mods to reduce bugs and I don't know if they'd be compatible with the 25th anniversary update. For the past couple days, I've been trying to get help on EA's official help website, and I've managed to talk to a human a couple times. Both times, I've been told they need to transfer me to a technical team advisor, but the transfer never ends up working. It will say that there's an estimated wait time of 10 minutes, and then sit there for hours until the chat window bugs out and disconnects. I've been told that there is no possible way for me to speak to the technical team besides the buggy chat window. Who do I contact for help about the functionality of the help website?
EA app not installing
Hi there world! I am having issues installing the EA app. I have done all the troubleshooting I can think of and have spoken to 2 agents at EA and done troubleshooting with them but so far nothing has worked. Things I have tried: Running EA installer directly from the Sims 4 play in Steam. Downloading and running the installer from the EA website. Running installer as administrator. Removing add icon to desktop in the install options. Turning off all other startup programs minus Windows. Doing some kind of thing in command prompt (was to do with winsock but can't remember off the top of my noggin). Making a test local administrator account and attempting install under that profile. Removing Windows Defender and all firewalls. Many a reboot, always a fail, same error every time. (see attached image) I just want to play Sims and I'm not sure what else to do, and r/thesims4 told me to come here. Please help, and thank you in advance. Sadez 💞
