Missing Skate Insider/Playtest Rewards
I know it was stated to be rolling out in waves but I received a playtest/insider reward but it was only 100 San Van Bucks which is cool but not needed atm as I have my 15,000 in credits from the playtests which again is amazing but I'm sadly missing the board and stickers and I believe a grip tape? I was told by a chat agent to make a post specifically here so sorry if it seems out of place. Only place I've seen that may be of help. Thank you for your time and effort! Error code 852146987 since S2
Error code 852146987 (if errors can have codes, they surely can have names...) Reinstalled the game twice both on Steam and the EA App. The game is currently installed in Steam. Checked that everything is linked and synchronized, for some reason the game is not showing on the EA app like other Steam bought games and it wasn't recognized as being installed on Steam when it was. The game was working as flawless as an EA early access game would up until the very last day of S1. I don't want to start over with a new account, I don't have to do that anywhere else. Any suggestion and comment is considered and if I can try it, I will, and if I find my solution, I will update the post.Lost Progression after linking accounts
I started playing on my Xbox account, and wished to continue with cross progression on my PC. I linked my Xbox account and installed the game on steam, and had been greeted with a fresh account. I then installed skate through Epic Games and was greeted with the fresh account again. Finally i installed through EA itself, and it automatically designates that fresh save as my default. I am a bit annoyed because i made a lot of progression on my xbox save and even spent some money in the store, so having to replay all the challenges i already did and purchasing the same items is not ideal at all. PLEASE HELP WITH FIXING THE CORRECT ACCOUNT CHOSEN TO SELECT THE SAVE FROM
Borderless Windowed mode not using display resolution
When I first installed the game, I was not seeing this issue, it only began to occur after I changed some graphics settings. I'm not sure which ones, since I changed pretty much all of them, and can no longer stop the issue from occurring. When the game first launches, it seems to be using the correct resolution, my display resolution of 2560x1600 (seen in attachment 1). Then after hitting start game, in the middle of the loading screen that says "configuring...", the game switches to a much lower resolution, with a different, incorrect aspect ratio (attachment 2). At this point, if you hit alt-enter twice to switch to windowed mode, then back to borderless windowed mode, the resolution corrects itself back to the display resolution. Once the game loads in, (past the survey screen) it again reverts to this incorrect resolution (attachment 3). After this, by hitting alt-enter twice, or by changing the display mode in the settings from borderless windowed to something else and then back, the resolution restores to the correct display resolution (attachment 4), and remains this way for the rest of gameplay, until returning to the title screen, either by quitting or being disconnected, where the same behavior described is repeated. Closing the game and restarting it after "fixing" the resolution doesn't seem to make a difference, it just keeps reverting to this incorrect resolution. It doesn't seem to be using the resolution of the windowed mode window, as the aspect ratio when switching to windowed mode is different than this incorrect resolution. I'm using a windows 11 laptop with a with an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU. This is on the version of the game downloaded through the EA app.
Purchase bug
I tried to purchase 500 San Van Bucks from the store, alt tabbed to another screen to find my card details, came back and entered incorrect details a few times by mistake. upon finishing the transaction, it has selected the most expensive package or 12000 point for £87.99?! At no point did I choose to purchase this, and there was no payment summary on the EA launcher before the payment was confirmed? I am absolutely livid. Is there any way to refund this? I won't be spending any of these points in case. Why is there no payment summary window?
Player Object Nonexistent, Game Cannot Load
We are fairly confident that my save data state has become so severely bugged that the game can no longer spawn my player object at all. I was playing around in Gullcrest Skate Park when my game crashed, and when I reloaded, I was able to connect to a server, but as soon as I connect and close the survey, I cannot see anything. The entire screen is black, and I cannot open any menus. I also cannot hear any menu interactions when I press buttons. However, I can see party invites and throwdown invites and hear their sound effects, and I can accept those invites in order to join players and throwdowns. If I join a player, I will go through the server change process, but I will still have a black screen when I arrive in the new server. Several friends have tried to unbug me by teleporting me to a safe place, but nothing works. Here is everything we've tried: 1. Starting challenges. 2. Inviting me to throwdowns. 3. Having me join their server, leaving my party, then inviting me to the party so that I would in theory teleport to their location since we are in the same server. I can join their party while we're sharing a server, but I do not teleport to their location like normal players do. 4. Trying to teleport to my position and experiment with my environment. When people teleport to me, they are floating somewhere under the mountains and the distant settlement outside of San Van, floating over a black platform in the void, adjacent to a couple black rectangular prisms the size of buildings. They can see each other, but they cannot see me. All evidence points to my player object being simply nonexistent. A position reset would likely not fix this. I just wanted to provide as much info as possible about how my save state has become somehow unloadable.
