Gameplay Suggestion
Hey EA I just have one ask for the game coming up in August. Can you pls bring back the different type of aggressive and possession catch animations that game look realistic with like new cb/wr physics. I suggest to use what you guys have on madden old gen with wr/db physics as the animations for recievers on old gen madden look amazing and realistic and I am really hoping you guys could bring that to new gen please. As u realised this was missing in college football 26 and I think this could be big step and make madden levels better than college football 26 as It brings those star recievers like JJ and jamar chase to life so we can virtually replicate what they do in real life. And if you're not able implement this at launch pls do in an update for madden and hopefully college football 26 as wellCB Depth Chart
Can we please have CB1 match up against WR1..? I'm not sure why this has not been a thing for years. Why does the CB1 spot matchup on the left side of the defense (right side of screen), when the WR1 (X) typically ends up on the left side of the offense? Or, bring back the direct matchup, where you can assign a certain DB to a certain offensive player. As it stands, there are issues when you want to have your CB1 or CB2 be also work in the slot. Also, can the spell RB option come back as well? I miss that feature as a quick RB substitution option (might have only been in older NCAA).Madden 26 Companion App Release Date
Hello, When is the expected release date for the companion app for Madden 26? Last year, it was nearly a month after the Madden release. I am a third-party developer that relies on the companion app. Knowing the release ahead of time would help me schedule around the release date to work on my application. I appreciate any information you can provide. Best, JoshMadden 26 Needs to Be Better Than Ever
Let’s be honest — Madden 25 was a major disappointment. Every year, fans get hyped up from trailers and promises, and every year the final product feels like a letdown. The truth is, EA Sports has all the tools and potential to make a game that truly represents the NFL and gives players something special. But they don’t. And that’s why Madden 26 absolutely has to be better than every Madden before it — not just for sales, but for the community that’s been holding on with hope for years. Let’s start with graphics. This game needs to look next-gen. Look at Forza Horizon 5 — everything in that game looks real. Madden should be the same. Stadiums should feel alive, weather should impact the game visually and physically, and player faces need to look exactly like the real-life players. No more generic models or missing likenesses. On top of that, give every team more alternate jersey colors — fans love repping their squad in throwbacks or custom colorways, and it makes the game more personal. Gameplay has to be completely overhauled. Right now, it feels more like an arcade game than an NFL simulation. Linebackers shouldn’t be jumping 6 feet in the air for one-handed picks, and offensive linemen need to actually block. Give us smarter O-line AI that can recognize blitzes, pick up blocks, and hold them long enough to let the quarterback or running back make a play. Make it feel like real football. And this time, the game cannot be pay-to-win. Ultimate Team is fun, but people shouldn’t have to drop hundreds of dollars just to be competitive. Let players grind and earn without feeling left behind. We’ve had six straight Maddens that felt almost the same — that’s not just lazy, it’s disrespectful to the fans who keep showing up. Madden 26 also needs to bring energy back to the field. Add new and fun celebration dances when teams get a first down or touchdown. Make them funny but tough — like how the players really celebrate on Sundays. It’s those small moments that make games memorable. Even pre-game intros should show off star players, highlight rivalries, or showcase big plays from earlier in the season. These little details bring the game to life. And don’t forget the legends. Why have we gone years without players like Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Jay Cutler, or Eddie Lacy? Fans love all-time teams. It’s part of football history, and when you ignore that, you’re ignoring the heart of the sport. To the developers: we’re not asking for miracles — we’re asking for effort. Listen to the community. Don’t shortchange us again. If Madden 26 isn’t something special, I honestly might never buy another Madden. You’ve got one more shot to make it right. Make it count.EA API/ Data Fixes
I've been working with the data that comes from the api recently and there are a lot of things that need to be fixed. And there are some items that I have on my wishlist. Obviously the free agent data not being available is a known bug. I have hopes that this will be resolved in the Madden 26 The draft information for all players is slightly off. For example, the server outputs joe burrow as being the 2nd pick of the 2nd round. It's right in the game but wrong when it exports. Injury data needs to be handled better. The injury length should update every week to adjust for players getting closer to returning to action I'm sure there are more but these are ones that hop out at me as obvious fixes. Here are a few on my wish list: Quality of life improvements to the app. League commissioners deserve a better experience. We should be able to load the regular season schedule in without issue, all weeks. I would love for draft data be an export option. There is so much story telling with mock drafts, etc. which can be done if this data was exportable once the draft class is generated Awards need to be exported in the player data. Once again, this is being tracked in the game but doesn't export anywhere Blocking stats would be a big plus, the big guys deserve love too! Transaction specific data export would be nice. Signings, trades, etc. all in one export. These all feel like easy additions (maybe besides the draft class export) that would greatly improve the quality of data available.53Views0likes1CommentMADDEN 26 DO NOT BUY
I Will not be buying madden unfortunately the game doesn’t match its price tag, it just feels like a rinse and repeat game with updated rosters only?. It’s disappointing that NFL2k05 Had more features than madden 2025. The EA company needs to take a step back and actually make the game more enjoyable , especially with career mode ! Can you not add a trophy room for all the things you win? Can we get some type of story behind our career like REAL LIFE. & Why aren’t past teams in the game ? Why do I have to go on ultimate team to play with Steve young or have to download a roster ?. I’m not the only one saying this by the way. LISTEN TO YOUR FANS143Views1like0CommentsShadow band
I believe I been shadow band don’t know why but on my superstar mode I was ranked at #8 and then every win I will get points deduction about 90 point or 15 and when I win I only receive 1 ranking points I’ve bugged and been going down on rankings even though I win a 5 game win streak I lose lots of ranking points I spend lots of time and money for my characterNot launching!
When trying to launch Madden 25 without admin privilege I get a pop-up "preparing game". This then closes together with the app and then the app restarts, no game launched. When trying to launch with admin privileges i get the same thing but this time it also asks to launch with admin privileges. I then press "OK" after which I get the error pop-up that the game failed to launch. I have tried EVERY single possible solution I could find on similar issues and not a single one has worked. Unless the possible solution is very very hard to find I have most likely tried it and it didn't work. It might be worth noting that while some get it working by using an admin windows account this doesn't work for everyone and even if it did there still needs to be a way to launch the game from a standard windows account since not everyone uses admin account on a daily basis due to not having it available or due to security risks. Thanks in advance!29Views0likes0Comments
