Inconsistent force feedback when using a controller (PC) In testing, this problem seemed to affect older controllers only. In order to fix this, the resulting effect would break features of newer controllers. Therefore, a decision was made not to make this change. Audio stuttering issues The team have identified that this is likely a hardware limitation linked to Bluetooth devices. Stuttering should not occur whilst using other devices for transmitting audio. If you are affected, please switch to a different audio device. If you are still experiencing this issue, please raise a new thread on EA Answers. Hey all, Codemasters forums veterans will remember Barry's Basics - a series where he would share tips and tricks to help you make the most out of the F1 games. He's created this guide on controller settings with what he finds the most useful, which you can read below! I wanted to share some of the things I have found while testing the game, and some helpful tips to make the most out of your experience. In this instalment, we will be looking at some controller settings I use that I’ve found particularly useful. I have spent a lot of time testing the game and attempting replication of issues throughout my 3+ years at EA. There are some settings I use to be competitive enough and, most importantly, comfortable. The most annoying thing I do is crash during a test, meaning I must start again, as flashbacks would not be possible. My settings are designed to avoid this and keep the game fun to play and competitive. So, these are 'META' right? Nope. I'm sorry to report I'm simply a slightly above-average driver, and these aren't the most META tricks or anything. Just some things to try that might be useful and enhance your experience. Why do it then? Good question. I've tested some of these setups and they seem popular with a small sample size (basically my brother and my fellow CB for my football team). Maybe they will help you too. Also, this will be a open section, where people can post their settings on this topic (try to keep it on topic if possible please) for others to try out. I'll get right to it. Part 1 : Controller Settings. Platforms used: Xbox One S, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series Xand PC Controllers Used: Xbox One Controller + PowerA Fusion Pro Controller Generic Controller Settings: I've personally found the rear a little strong on the standard settings. If you are running with TCS off or medium, you might find it slightly unnatural and hard to control when accelerating heavily. What I use: Heavy amounts of Force Feedback can prove difficult with controller when I've been testing, so I've lowered basically everything down. Also, running at extremely high FFB settings, with FFB of 120+, players can experience ‘clipping’, which is less than ideal. I've also added Linearity to all 3, and it has made my experience slightly quicker, but more importantly, more controllable for longer tests and more comfortable if I need to push a bit. For myself, and my small test sample, these were quite the improvement. Try these settings out and see if you have a better experience. Have these proved useful for you? it would be great to see your settings too, and to see if I can improve mine at all.29KViews6likes4CommentsSSL connector error in F12022 PS4

Anyone having issues with VR stuttering inside of the car when looking left and right. Game is looking fine on the monitor but with the headset on it's unplayable. When having to retire the VR screen fully freezes and continues on the monitor, which forces me to take off my headset or close the game. Also after updating my NVIDIA drivers I started crashing when loading into time trials. For some reason, F1 22 is not seeing my wheel or pedals in game. I've done the Game Repair and the Origin Help people had me clear the cache, still nothing. I did not see any topics here on wheel problems yet. (updated the title thread to reflect the issue better) - AticSolved18KViews13likes305Comments
