Online Dynasty Weekly Summary Updates does not show for me.
I am the owner of the online dynasty with friends. If I am not currently logged in the dynasty when the week is advanced, I do not get the weekly summary update for recruits and potential transfers. Everybody else in the league gets them. The same thing happened to me in NCAA 25. Anybody else having this issue?6Views0likes0CommentsNeeds some work
More times then I’d like to admit I see my DL man in the face of a QB but scared to tackle. Does anyone else believe varsity setting is the real term for heisman? Idk maybe it’s me. I have really good games on the All American setting but I truly believe there is a slight issue with varsity setting. Can we please get some difficulty sliders for recruiting this is the biggest aspect of dynasty yet I can’t get a slight adjustment. Without the easy aspect of developers just cramming everything into one. Last but not least can we get a flag for hitting a defenseless receiver. My guy will be going up for a pass of course he’s going to drop when he gets his ankles cut out and lands on his helmet.14Views0likes0CommentsReasonable Dynasty Complaints
While i'm grateful that we have college football in the form of a video game, I feel like there is a lot of room for improvement. From what I've seen online, the devs seem to listen to players complaints more than other big games. Hopefully you guys see this. These are some of my issues I've discovered with CFB so far. All of these are going to be focused on Dynasty mode since thats my most played game mode. First off is the unrealistic sim stats. It seems like every year my QB is at the bottom in terms of passing yards because every other QB in game has 4,000-5,000 yard seasons. Last year, only 6 quarterbacks in FBS passed for over 4,000 yards. The previous years are about the same. I know its a small detail but I feel like it kills immersion. Passing attempts are also extremely high per QB. Overall, there are a ton of examples in the season stats that are simply unrealistic. The same can be said for game stats. For example, most of the games I play always have an extremely skewed Time of Possession. In real life, most games finish near a 50/50 TOP split. The good news is that these issues seem to be an issue that can be fixed fairly easily by messing with their sim engine. Secondly is more of a request for future installments but during the offseason, players should be able to apply to job openings. My job offers in CFB 26 so far have been pretty terrible. Being able to apply to more jobs creates variety and honestly, the basic four offers players get to choose from feels a bit dull. The name generator in the recruitment tab needs some more variety. It feels like there’s so much repetition after a handful of seasons. I've seen about 7 different Manziel's and Rooks' in just 4 seasons so far. I also think having a limitation on recruiting for OC/DC's would also be awesome. I shouldn't be able to recruit defensive players if I'm an OC and vice-versa. Having more limitations like this in game would drive me to actually seek out a HC position more.30Views0likes0CommentsRecruiting needs work
I’m Florida in an online dynasty and this is ridiculous. No way should I be able to land HALF of all the 5 stars. Especially should not be able to land THREE 5 star QBs in the same class. The deep dive said they were aiming for not needing house rules, but now we have some for CFB 26.43Views0likes1CommentProposal: Separate Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT) Positions
Proposal: Separate Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT) Positions, as well as Distinct Edge and Defensive End (DE) Designations in Madden and College Football Overview: To enhance the realism, strategy, and depth of Madden’s franchise mode and College Football’s dynasty mode, I propose EA Sports splits the current “Defensive Tackle” (DT) position into two distinct positions: Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT). Additionally, I propose creating a separate position for Edge Rushers (7/9 Tech DEs) and distinguishing them from traditional Defensive Ends (5 Tech DEs). These changes would better reflect the real-life roles, alignments, and responsibilities of these positions, as well as improve roster management and gameplay fidelity. Rationale for Splitting DT into DT and NT: 1. Differences in Role and Responsibilities: • Defensive Tackle (DT): Typically aligns in the B or C gap and is more focused on penetrating the offensive line to disrupt plays. They are often 3-technique players in a 4-3 scheme. • Nose Tackle (NT): Lines up in or near the A gap, often as a 1-technique or 0-technique. Their primary role is to anchor the line, occupy blockers, and control the point of attack, especially in 3-4 schemes. • These distinctions are currently recognized within Madden’s coding (e.g., DT2 functions as an NT in 3-4 base packages and aligns in formations like 4-3 Over or Under), but the lack of a separate designation creates confusion and hinders roster management. 2. Improved Formation Accuracy: • For example, in a 4-3 Over, the NT (DT2) shades the center on the weak side, while the DT (DT1) plays the 3-technique on the strong side. • In a 4-3 Under, the NT (DT2) shades the center on the strong side, next to the 5-technique DE. • Codifying NT as a separate position aligns with the game’s current logic and would make formation customization clearer for players. 3. Consistency with Other Positional Splits: • Madden already distinguishes between Fullback (FB) and Halfback (HB), as well as Free Safety (FS) and Strong Safety (SS). These distinctions improve roster building and create clarity for specific roles. Similarly, NT and DT differ significantly in skill sets and responsibilities and deserve separate classifications. Rationale for Splitting Edge Rushers and Defensive Ends (DE): 1. Edge Rushers (7/9 Tech): Often play outside the tackles in wide alignments and are focused primarily on rushing the quarterback. This role includes players who fit a “stand-up” style in 3-4 defenses but also traditional 4-3 rush ends. 2. Defensive Ends (5 Tech): In contrast, 5-technique DEs in 3-4 schemes are often larger, tasked with setting the edge against the run, and work alongside NTs in controlling gaps. These players are fundamentally different from edge rushers in their responsibilities and physical profiles. 3. Franchise and Dynasty Mode Benefits: • Splitting DE and Edge Rushers would provide clarity when scouting and drafting players. Users could identify players who fit specific defensive schemes (e.g., a 5-tech DE for a 3-4 vs. an Edge Rusher for a 4-3). • It allows more strategic depth for roster construction and formations, ensuring teams can field appropriate personnel for their defensive schemes. How This Change Would Improve Madden and CFB: 1. Realism: Reflects real-world football strategy, where NTs and DTs, as well as Edge Rushers and traditional DEs, are distinct in their roles and skill sets. 2. Roster Management: Simplifies roster construction by ensuring players are appropriately categorized based on their natural roles. For example, a 3-4 team would focus on drafting NTs and 5-tech DEs, while a 4-3 team prioritizes DTs and Edge Rushers. 3. Gameplay Depth: Improves formation flexibility and makes defensive alignments more intuitive. Players could better exploit matchups by selecting personnel that fit their scheme. 4. Scouting and Draft Realism: Offers clearer archetypes for scouting and drafting, enabling players to find scheme-specific fits rather than relying on general attributes. Implementation Suggestions: • Split Positions: Create distinct positional designations for: • DT (3-Tech Defensive Tackle) • NT (Nose Tackle) • Edge Rusher (7/9 Tech DE or OLB) • Defensive End (5-Tech DE) • Update Depth Charts: Include these new positions in the depth chart to reflect their unique responsibilities. • Adjust Scouting and Draft Logic: Allow for specific archetypes (e.g., “Run Stopper NT” vs. “Speed Rusher Edge”) to ensure players can draft to fit their schemes. • Maintain Backward Compatibility: For users who prefer simplified roster management, allow auto-assignment of roles based on scheme selection. By making these changes, Madden and College Football could offer a more realistic and immersive experience for players, especially in Franchise and Dynasty mode. If FB and HB, or FS and SS, can coexist as distinct positions, it’s time to give DT/NT and DE/Edge the same treatment. This shift would bring Madden and College Football closer to reflecting the intricacies of modern football while improving strategic depth for players. Thank you for considering this proposal!2.5KViews2likes1CommentError “our servers cannot process your request at this time”
In an online dynasty with 12 other guys. I am having issues when I try to begin any gameplay whether a real game or practice. I’ve saved a clip in my media files but basically any time I try to ready up for a game or practice in my online dynasty I get the following error - “our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the Main Menu”. This has occurred since 10:00am CST 4/30. I have tried to restart my PlayStation5, modem and router, redownloaded the game and made sure the updates were current. I would consider ending the dynasty or restarting but since it is online with other users I do not have that option. All other gameplays work in college football 25. None of the other players in my league are experiencing this issue.
