Request for NHL27 BAP
Not sure if suggestions from here make it to the product team. Lots of good feedback in this forum for the next release. However, there is one thing I’ve not seen mentioned that I would really really like to see. Namely, when I create a Center in BAP, I would like to play Center position. Not sure if there is some philosophic or programmatic reason this does not exist already. Depending on who you get drafted by, you could go years before your overall score is high enough to play 1C. One suggested way to implement this is give me the option to choose 2C over 1LW or 1RW. Or even choose to be 3C ..etc.. Regardless of how you build it, just let me play the position I want. :)
Fix Form Score
So, I’m trying to find nice and easy, low effort ways for you guys to fix the currently unplayable Be a Pro. And I think it boils down to the form score system. To get a good form score, you NEED to score goals. And to maintain the form score, you need to score goals literally every game. I’ve had streaks of 4 straight games of a 100 form score, then I have one game where I don’t score, and it drops below 70. Let’s just make this very clear. Not everyone wants to play a career mode where they score every single game and are the Jesus Christ of hockey. Some of us want a realistic career simulation where we score every now and again and slowly work our way up the lineup. BUT, to even be on the 4th line, you need A GOAL A GAME. The way you have Be a Pro designed, the players HAS to be the best player in the league every game or you get demoted. Fix. Your. Game. I refuse to wait until NHL 31 when you decide you fix a broken game mode and slap it on the cover as a new feature.Franchise mode play by play names are ridiculous.
The franchise mode play by play names are absolutely ridiculous. so many of them are unrealistic, like no one’s play by play name is going to be “believe the hype” that’s just ridiculous. in addition to that, there’s some cool logos like this one of a humpback whale, and there’s no play by play name called humpbacks. it’s stupid please fix it it’s impossible to create cool teams with it. and for the love of god, PLEASE MAKE HUMPBACKS A PLAY BY PLAY TEAM NAME IF YOUR NOT GONNA DO THE OTHER THINGS PLEASE JUST DO THIS PLEASE!!!NHL 27 Realistic Must Have's:
I am putting down simple realistic add on's for NHL 27 that do not require any new licensing with external corporations . - Be a pro: Be a pro has vastly improved I will give EA that, however I believe that small tweaks like more interaction with your pro off the ice like an option to have team practices and on ice drills that can benefit your players attributes and build chemistry would be beneficial to everyone. Secondly, add in the all star game, 4 nations, olympics (without formally calling it the olympics) Lastly, please make it more rewarding to be good defensively and to add to performance score without having to score goals or put up points - Franchise Mode: Please please please bring in LTIR, retiring jersey numbers, team practices, more interaction off ice, and interviews as the GM to clarify the direction of the team. THE MAIN THING IN THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS THIS, PLEASE BRING IN LIVE SEASON STARTING DATES, if the NHL season is on say January 24th then I want the option to start January 24th with the current record of that team and updated overalls and rosters to that point. IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING TO HAVE TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER. IN FACT IT IS INFURIATING! And as I stated before, please bring in the all star game, skills competition, 4 nations, olympics (without calling it the olympics if need be) and just allow more fun things to do. Franchise Mode has improved but there is a lot of work left to do Gm Connected would be a cool add on too but I am not expecting the moon. Even though I don't spend money on the game, I think there should be a pack in the store with either a guaranteed 99x LTD or higher than 25%. Spending $90 or $70 on a pack (or 667k or 517k coins) and not getting the UT player you want seems a bit ridiculous. But the fact someone could open $200+ or 1.2M+ of coins on these packs and not get the player they want seems kind of unfair to those that spend money or coins on these packs. I'd think it would be fair if there was a 1.5M coin or $180 pack that guarantees these cards. No matter what, I wouldn't buy one of these packs, especially with money. F2P!Defenceman gameplay is garbage.
Ive already made a post about numerous flaws and glitches in the defencive mechanics and gameplay. Heres another one. Can someone explain to me why when a foward uses LT its disney on ice, but when i use it on defence its as if i had forgot how to skate? Impossible to follow a moving foward in the slot using LT... its unrealisticly slow and just unusable when thats how you should be skating most of the time.. instead you just skate without it back against the player and just hope for the best. Wich nhl defenceman is so much slower and unagile while backskating??? Its just not funEA doesn't want offline players anymore.
With the lack of rewards and nerfed packs, it is clear that EA does not value it's offline player base. They have nerfed cup chase rewards where building a team comparable to online players is nearly impossible. On line players get exclusive cards, better sets, and better rewards. Why continue to pour money into a company who no longer values you. Please remeber how EA has treated you this year when it comes time to pre order.Make NHL games great again (NHL 27 wishlist)
Although nhl 25 and 26 are good games, they arent necessarily at great level yet. these are some additions i would add to lean towards greatness again Gameplay: -Bring back + add presentation(Team entrance, consistent national anthem, goalie warmups,commentators recap during intermission not just seeing replays. maybe have a panel like we see on tv) - In game highlights recap (during wihistles, add realistic presentation) - More realistic collision, hits, physics -Graphix improvement, more shadow, better cloth movement, make players look more realistic than they are. Some players really do not look like themsleves. -More realistic skating and movement (though this has been a step up already) -Better fighting engine, it is literally more than 10 years old now. -Score board should add series tracker (when playing playoffs in any mode) Customization: - I asked this in the last few NHLs, but being able to change glove colors in any mode as well as stick color. NHL 2k had this, and it just added to the element of customization. - more stick tape options ( being able to actualy customize how long we want the stick shaft tape lenght to be and how much tape we want on the blade ) not just preset options. (Zibanejad for example has super long stick shaft tape and we cant replicate this anymore like we used to in 2k) - Custom goalie masks or at least able to change colors of the designs - create a team: cutomize logo for more freely (size, add layers, sponsors etc..) able to customize jersey entirely additional to the preset jerseys we can choose. Franchise: - Able to sign PTO's - more flexibility to trade for NMC players. (have a conversation with GM and player to see if there is a fit) rather than just not able to offer a trade for the player. -Activity feed to be more interactive -draft day floor with team, players being called up to stand for round 1 and then simpler draft style for round 2 to 7. -Being able to edit the draft class -Players with generic faces should be able to change the faces to what we want to match the realism of how they look, this should not be locked unless it is a face scan player. -ERA's mode (nba 2k has this) it would be more expansive when using legend players and teams -CBA to vote on changes in the league (NBA 2k has this) -Being able to edit generic coaches/assistants. able to also create your own GM avatar. - Bring back style similar to dynasty mode from nhl 2004. - Awards being more interactive and not just a list of who won - Stanley cup banners raised cut scene either when cup is won or first home game of the next seasonMissing locations in location list.
EA_Aljo Thank you EA Sports for finally adding Riga, Vantaa, and Västerås as new cities to the location list. It's also nice that EA Sports added some cities from South Korea to NHL 24. But still, many cities around the world are missing from the location list.understand that EA Sports can't add every city in the world to the game, but it would be nice if EA Sports could add these cities to the location list in future updates. Öskemen, Kazakhstan Öskemen, which is also known as Ust-Kamenogorsk is city in Kazakhstan. You could say that Öskemen is the heart of Kazakhstani hockey. Five Kazakhstani players have played in the NHL, all of whom were born in Öskemen. In addition to them, two Russian goaltenders, Yevgeny Nabokov and Anton Khudobin, and German goaltender Dimitri Patzold were born in Öskemen. Would be nice see Öskemen and capital city of Kazakhstan Astana in the location list. Gävle, Karlstad, Örnsköldsvik and Ängelholm, Sweden These four swedish city is missing from location list. If you are using the Swedish version of NHL 26, you will find Gävle, Karlstad, and Örsköldsvik in the location list. In the other language versions these cities has been replaced by name Brynäs, Färjestads and Modo. Ängelholm is the hometown of Rögle BK. Rögle BK has been playing in the SHL since the 2015-16 season, but Ängelholm is still not on the location list. For example all Liiga teams hometowns will be found from there. For example we have there all DEL teams hometown and in addition few other cities from Germany. Hradec Králové, Czechia Why Hradec Králové isn't found in the location list ? All other Czech Extraliga teams hometown will be found in the location list, but Hradec Králové isn't be there. Also location list inclued other cities from Czechia.
