[Xb1] Specific Sim getting deleted/culled?
Hi all. (Or should I say, sul sul…)🙃 I downloaded a custom sim from the gallery for my game. I went about making her family, moved them into a house, and then…she just disappeared completely, like she didn’t exist! I tried several times, and several things- Going back into CAS, importing her from gallery, yadda yadda- same result. I tried merging her from Live Mode, and nothing…At one point, her sim was still there on the lot, but I couldn’t control her, and she was missing from the little Sim icons at the bottom. I tried resetting her but it said she didn’t exist! I even completely deleted every townie, upped the Sim limit to none, and uninstalled/redownloaded my game and packs. It is still not working. I’m missing several of the add-on packs for her sim (turns out the Motherlode cheat doesn’t work irl, I can’t even get the cheat console to open in my house- ba dum tss..) ; but I made do with the cosmetics I had. I really just wanted an accurate Harley face. 💔It only happens with her- and her model has a few reposts/ edits under different Simmers. (For anyone wondering, it’s the Margot Robbie model by Sil_Guez, reworked as Harley Quinn by AngelDust_boom) (beautiful work btw; also totally not their fault I know- they might have posted from PC, not console!) Anybody have tips? So, is this a pack issue? Because it doesn’t change her face mapping at all- just takes off hair, clothes etc. (which I can replace with other similar stuff.) I should get going. So I took my sim to a lot in Evergreen Harbor and he voted for the action plans and community changes etc. After about a minute, the ‘building lot’ screen just appeared and would not go away. All he was doing in that moment was sitting, not doing anything that would cause this screen. I’m not sure if it’s because of the voting for changes that he did, but I had to force close my game after giving it 10 minutes and still being stuck on the ‘building lot’ loading screen. I did not try to enter build mode or do anything related to building a lot. Due to me having no choice but to force close the game (as I could not interact with the game at all) I lost all my gameplay that I had done. I’m very annoyed as I only recently bought Eco Lifestyle and it’s just been full of world glitches and bugs. The floor disappears in Evergreen Harbor and the background glitches badly.Game screen suddenly shows a past moment/freezes??
This is a really weird problem and I'm going to do my best to describe it... I have had this happen twice now in the past day. My game suddenly 'flashes back' to something that happened recently while also freezing. Here are the two instances: Yesterday when it first happened, my game went back to the screen where I had two sims taking a picture together, except this had happened many game hours earlier and the screen was also frozen. Nothing to do except force the game to quit and lose my unsaved stuff. Just now happened again, inspiring this post. My game jumped back to a random moment from game hours earlier. I knew it wasn't from the actual current moment because one of my sims had visited the Naturopath and the screen showed that they were there (I could see the ailment on their pic and it was greyed out like they were gone somewhere). Also had to force quit, although this time I noticed that I could still use the keyboard shortcuts to pause and unpause, because I could hear the rain/other game sounds. I couldn't actually click on anything, and after a minute even that stopped. Note: Due to the annoying number of crashes/glitches from the recent update that I've been experiencing, and after this happened yesterday, I repaired my game. For reference, I have every expansion pack/kit/etc. and I have no mods in my game currently. Got rid of them when infants were introduced and never brought them back. Anyone else have this happening??
[XB/PS] Endless Load Times
During the past 1 year I encountered endless loading multiple times. I play on console (PS4, so please don't ask me if I removed mods/CC because I can't even have any) and I own many packs: most expansion, gameplay, stuff packs and since last month 3 kits. I always have the latest version of the game, so that shouldn't be causing any problems. If I played for hours or notice minor bugs such as keys malfunctioning (no, it's not related to my keyboard) it's more likely that I'll get stuck in endless loading. I'm not saying loading screen on purpose because it also applies to saving. So far I was able to salvage these situations by just saving it as a save file instead of a lot but last time the save files didn't load either. My best bet was to save it to my library because I suspected it would cause an infinite loading screen, if I went to manage worlds anyways. The upload still froze. Recently, I had a lot of infinite loading screens. It has also happened during the current event multiple times. The only pattern I recognize is that it occurs either while traveling or while going from build mode to manage worlds. It didn't bother me that much but during the past month it has happened a lot. can't save anymore
hi, so i cant save my game anymore. so i am building my house and i want to leave the lot and save it, it just loads endlessly. i tried saving a build various times so my progress won't get lost but that doesn't always work, so i can't really play the game anymore and i have no idea how to fix it. before this issue i kept crashing back to the world menu but i fixed that by turning only script mods off.
