Only in apex my game ends up freezing or crashing
Starting today whenever I played a game of ranked or wildcard my pc would either bsod or completely freeze. I tried multiple troubleshooting options such as running EAC and apex in admin mode on startup, repairing EAC, using DDU to uninstall and reinstall graphics drivers, disabling kernel debugging, etc. I was literally just playing ranked all day yesterday with 0 problems but when I woke up this morning I could not play any game mode. Drivers tried (591.86, 566.63, 616.92) Also got this a couple of times commandline: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\r5apex_dx12.exe" -steam -game R2 title: Fatal Error - Engine Error error: [DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED] : 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed. PC Specs AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D 8-Core(3.40GHz) Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3x(8GB) 32GB RAM (3600MHz)Game causes a graphics driver crash when loading the main menu or a map
i tried using these steam launch flags: +staticprop_color_use_bindless 0 +staticprop_depth_use_bindless 0 +r_drawworld_depth_bindless 0 +rhi.dx12.EnableGPUUploadHeaps 0 -no_render_on_input_thread -numPSOThreads 2 This let me through to the main menu without a crash, but it would still occur when loading any map. This started with the latest update only as of posting. Running on a 5800x3d with 32GB of RAM and a RX9070xt running the latest driver from AMD released 17/8/26 (version 26.8.1)Code:Tap
The new split is here, and we were told that the issues were being investigated/fixed, but the exact same problem is still happening. I played ONE Ranked match and immediately got Code:Tap again. This has been happening repeatedly, and I’ve already reported it numerous times. At this point, restarting the game, checking files, changing data centers, etc. clearly isn’t solving the problem. The issue keeps coming back in Ranked. Please acknowledge this as an ongoing issue and provide an actual update on what is being done to fix it. It’s extremely frustrating to lose access to ranked after just one match because of Code:Tap.Serious compliance violation due to denial of service to specific users
You, the Apex support team, have intentionally revoked my access to EA Support, effectively shutting me out and preventing me from filing a complaint. This constitutes targeted harassment of a customer by specific EA employees and represents a serious compliance violation. I demand that my access be restored within 24 hours, that I receive a direct apology from the employee(s) involved, and that I be compensated for the period during which assistance was denied. Failure to comply will result in me holding EA’s management—and potentially the parent company, PIF—strictly accountable for this matter.PC and Apex slows downs to 1 frame then proceeds to black screen then restart
As title says, everytime I launch apex after 2 minutes entire pc and the game slows down to 1 frame then around 30 seconds later my entire PC goes black then proceeds to restart it self. When i check event viewer it says Event ID 41. Ive tried setting my clocking to normal, underclocking, lowest settings, i;ve repaired windows files (this initially worked but the next time i opened the game the problem came back) , repaired files on both steam and EA, i've updated all my drivers. Not sure what else to do hence im here. Used to be able to play apex with no issue around 6 months ago.Severe FPS Drops and Stuttering Similar to Recent Frame Pacing Report
Hello EA/Respawn team, I would like to report a serious FPS and stuttering issue that I have recently been experiencing in Apex Legends on PC. My PC: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 NVIDIA Driver: 591.86 RAM: 16GB Resolution: 1920x1080 Operating System: Windows 10 The game used to run normally on this same PC and with the same settings. However, for more than 10 days, I have been experiencing sudden FPS drops and noticeable stuttering, especially in Ranked matches. Normally, my FPS is high and stable, but in certain situations, especially when turning the camera quickly, encountering enemies, entering a fight, or when multiple visual effects appear, the FPS can suddenly drop to around 80 FPS and the game becomes noticeably stuttery. The problem is much less noticeable in the Firing Range. It mainly happens during actual matches, especially during fights. I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, including restarting the PC, closing background applications, checking Windows performance settings, checking disk usage and background processes, closing Visual Studio Background Downloader, changing Windows visual effects, and adjusting Apex graphics settings. At one point, I discovered that Visual Studio Background Downloader was causing very high disk usage. Closing it seemed to improve the problem temporarily. However, after playing again later, the same Apex stuttering and FPS drops returned even when the downloader was completely closed. I also found this recent EA forum report: "PC - Periodic severe frame pacing/stuttering while FPS remains near cap" My symptoms appear to be quite similar, especially the sudden frame-time and stuttering behavior during gameplay. I am also wondering whether this could be related to a recent Apex Legends update or Easy Anti-Cheat update. I cannot confirm that Easy Anti-Cheat is the cause, but the timing and symptoms make me think it may be worth investigating. Could the development team please investigate whether a recent game update, Easy Anti-Cheat update, background scanning, driver interaction, or another newly introduced process could be causing abnormal CPU usage, disk I/O, or frame-time spikes during gameplay? The same PC, hardware, and settings previously ran Apex normally, so this does not appear to be a hardware limitation. Thank you for looking into this issue.Perdida de puntos por "abandono"
pensé que era un error aislado pero ya es la tercer o cuarta vez que el juego o el servidor crashea y a la hora de reconectarme no solo que no se reconecta sino que tambien me quita de la partida y me hace perder puntos recien el juego crasheo de la absoluta nada cuando me revivieron entre rápidamente de nuevo al juego y no me reconecto tiene que haber un filtro para cuando los jugadores abandonan por que si y otro cuando hubo una desconexión inmediata no solo que no gane los puntos que hubiera ganado sino que me restaron por abandonar en total habre perdido unos 120 puntos gracias a sus servidores nefastos a ver si se ponen las pilas
