Skate culture
It's very clear that this game was NOT made with skate culture whatsoever. And it's very evident that this game was made for children and the LGBTQ community before anything. Every graphic is pink and rainbow, the art style is beyond childish. You can't even play the game S.K.A.T.E. in the game skate, there's no hall of meat or skate brands in the game. You can't take a culture and re-theme it. Skate culture is dark and grimey, and punk esq, are there rainbows and children's tales in military sims? Why are they trying to rebrand skate culture when nothing they added even EXISTS in skate culture. EA flopped AGAIN. AND WILL AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. Not to mention the game is basically broken for everybody. Exactly how they killed the need for speed franchise with childish art and a permanently broken game, is exactly what is going to happen with skate. Thanks for nothing EA
The issues that I'm having have brought me to the brink of insanity.
Instead of complaining, I'm just going to list the issues I have and pray to God that somebody has a solution. FPS usually locked to 30 until I switch the Global Graphics preset to Ultra. After I manage to unlock my FPS, there is insane input lag and frame drops, even on low settings. Animations in-game look like they're in slow-mo. Can't set refresh rate higher than 119hz on native resolution (2560x1440), but can set it to a wide range of options at a lower resolution. I've been trying to fix this BS for hours at this point, please help me. I'll attach a short video showcasing the bugs. (Also, my brother with a completely identical computer, monitor, and settings has absolutely zero issues). Specs: Geforce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU Intel i5 8GB RAM ~120GB free storage

me and my friends are struggling to play together sometimes, either because the servers are always full or we simply only get one person in before the session is full, it would be nice before you join a lobby you could create a group that could match make together and always succeed on matching everyone together without the struggles of inviting and fiding out the lobby is full.
The game has zero progression or reward for playing
Give us real world gear to buy with in game currency. Generic cartoon junk is worthless and the loot box system makes it pointless. Please add a setting to remove other players. I don’t want my immersion ruined by idle players like an MMO lobby. Give the game ANY form of progression. Sponsorships, competitions, influence (like Skate 3). ANYTHING is better than meaningless hollow challenges. Vee is the most annoying part of the game. Like an out of touch mom googling “skater lingo” to talk to her 12yo son. I had to mute all VO just to get rid of her entirely. In the future add other regions with verticality (not skydiving junk). Like the spillway or suburban hillsides. Bring back the proper Hall Of Meat and relative challenges like in Skate 2. Anything more like the Xray or score is better than the boring “thud” and getting up 1sec after.Sims chronically mischievous
There are so many sims now that behave mischievously even though they don't have a single negative trait!!! I hate this so much because I know every interaction can't be perfect but it's so annoying when you leave one of your sims unattended and they are actively sabotaging every relationship - including those with family members. Same with random sims. There are so many of them that do mischievous stuff and make your sims embarrassed or angry randomly. It's just way to common and I don't think sims should behave mischievously unless they have already built a negative relationship with another sim or have the trait like evil or mean (any negative ones). This has been a problem for too long!!😒 PS: I don't use Mods at all. Note by crinrict There's a few threads that are similar so please make sure that you use the correct one for upvoting. Sometimes after the skate launcher close itself, my PC give me blue screen and restart. Is already there a solution to this problem? P.S: in another post a guy said that he found a method by deleting files of a specific folder every time he have to start skate but in my case it doesnt work
[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13
I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits another lot and comes back to their lot about 3-5 minutes of playing with a different household member the game crashes. Also it keeps resetting my game settings turning back on tutorials and game play overlays and turning back on the music I have turned off in build mode and home screen have most packs except for For Rent, Lovestruck, Growing together, High School Years and Seasons
