Visual bug when using Order food/drinks on a Servo with party machine module
Order drink visual bug When ordering drinks from servo with party machine module activated, the drinks to choose from all look the same or contain the same red liquid. Here's a pic: Order food visual bug Additionally, when you order food, the sim gets the food from servo using his left hand, the plate gets stuck on his left hand and then he performs the eating animation while the plate is still stuck on his left hand. Resulting in this: This may be caused by the dominant hand of the sim. I theorize this was overlooked since usually when you order food from a bartender, the food is set on the bar and the sim gets the food from there using his dominant hand, but here, since the sim directly gets the food from servo, the plate gets stuck on his dominant hand. If a sim with a dominant hand fits the animation, this visual bug doesn't occur. Like here: Mods/CC: No Computer: Windows 11 How to recreate: (1) Spend hours making servo, (2) Spend more hours leveling its enhancements, (3) Select the Party Machine enhancement, (3) Click on servo sim > servo > party machine > order drink / order food.
Wrong Sole Color on Vans Sk8 Hi
The bottom of the soles of the vans sk8 hi are white instead of brown, seems like an oversight since the vans founders old skool have the right brown color underneath. This wasn't an issue in Skate 3, the shoes had the correct color. I bought them without knowing this would be an issue since I couldn't see the bottom of them. For $5 shoes they should match exactly to the real version specially when there's no refund option like in Fortnite
Worlds Visual Issues
I couldn't find a thread about this already when I looked. Apologies if there is one I missed. The Uptown area of San Myshuno has quite a few visual issues. Rather than create a thread for each, I'm collecting them all here. The greenery that hangs from the upper walkways has the wrong shader assigned which means the alpha channel doesn't work. For some reason it has the 'Road' shader instead of 'Phong'. Switching it to 'Phong' fixes the issue. The two small waterfalls in the central area run upwards instead of downwards. Rotating the uv mapping 180 degrees fixes this. (They need more tweaking to make the texture mapping actually look good and uniform though. The middle section texture clearly looks narrower than the outer side pieces.) The Steel girders that run around the perimeter of the area have their undersides meshed inside-out, so when viewed from underneath you can see the sky. This also means they cast a broken shadow. The various stone planters in the area are placed inconsistently with each other in a way that means some clip through wall sections, others flicker through the walls depending on the camera angle, and some flicker through the glass fences. The planter objects themselves are poorly textured. Join lines between blocks don't match up and some don't connect to matching joins on a neighbouring surface at all. All of these issues are well within the playable area where you would expect players to be looking and interacting with objects nearby so you don't have to look hard to find them. I'm playing on game version 1.114.46.1030 DX11 with graphics set to maximum. 10 minute loading screen
For the past week or so, my game has taken 10+ minutes to load, from opening it up in EA to loading into a household. It used to take only 2 minutes. I’ve tried the 50/50 method to rule out any mods, and nothing. It was still slow without any mods or cc. I’ve repaired the game many times as well and nothing. And when it does finally load into the game, it’s extremely laggy. should I try to fix this now? Or should I wait for the November 4th update to see if it helped?
In-game photos have become blurry, as if compressed
I loaded into a save for the first time in a little under a month and immediately noticed that my medium- and large-sized photos have become blurry, as if they've been compressed. It's to the point where they're kind of hard to look at. I frequently take and rearrange photos, so I would've noticed it before. I tried this with a save that I'd opened since the update, one that I hadn't opened since the update, and one that I hadn't opened with mods disabled. It was the same each time. I've attached a screenshot so you can see, for reference, that the larger photo is noticeably blurrier than the small one. (The small photo in the screenshot is from a photo booth, which I know works a bit differently, but I didn't notice any abnormal blurring in the other small photos.) It's a bit dark though, my apologies
Suggestion ideas
Just some ideas for the SKATE franchise to include in future updates or releases - nobbed railings, California pick nick tables & school yard, black wheels, board breaking when landing tricks or by focusing after landing a trick, worn board bottom based on the amount of time a deck has been in use.
Cook Together screen greys out
My sim formed a group and then I clicked on the counter for them to cook together {Just 2 sims}. As soon as I did this the screen became some what darkly translucent. I can still see my sim, the lot, the whims, you name it I can see it. However I cannot interact with anything. I cannot save, I cannot talk to another sim. Nothing. And as I said above the screen became somewhat darker, yet not blacked or greyed out. I will attempt to attach a picture. I have allowed the game to sit, to no avail. I have zero mods and to my knowledge I do not have testing cheats on at this time. Has anyone else had this issue?PLEASE FIX THE REPLAY EDITOR FRAME DROPPING!!!
I want to make content for Skate. But i cant get smooth videos because every-time i do a line and go back to replay editor there are 2-3 frame drops in the clip. Stop adding new things to the game until the game is smooth out of bugs please! We do not need new content at this moment we need bug fixes and technical issues flushed out first. Its very frustrating trying to do a certain line just to go back and look at it and it doesn't play out smoothly!Bugs with horse riding
Anyone else having bugs with the horses more than usual? Like the sim not being able to interact with the horse (petting, talking etc), they just do it randomly in a really weird position away from the horse. Or not being able to get on the horse and/or doing it, again, in really weird way. Also when training the horse the whole thing just pauses and stops moving but the skill is still developing?
