I keep having issues?
Last night or very late morning, I made a post saying my sims 4 kept crashing and wouldn't work, that has been resolved as I deleted the game and redownloaded it. But now I have another problem. Every time I now try to open the game, it loads for a few seconds before going black. The audio is still there, and I can still click on things, the game still works as it should, but I don't know what since I can't see the screen. I've completely wiped the new file of any mods so there are none there but two sliders I didn't want to get rid of. I've deleted G-shade just in case that was the issue, and I've wiped the cache. All I know is that before it had done this, I had changed my graphics setting to high before it went black, and now I have no way to change it. I'm going to delete the sims once again and redownload it once more, and I'll come back if that fixes the issue, but is anyone else just having problem after problem with the sims after EVERY update, or is it just me? 😓Biometric Vault Door Visual Glitch Appears Closed When They Are Opened
The biometric vault doors have a visual glitch after the March 2 Sims 4 update. The vault doors appear closed and sims can walk through them. If I replace the doors in build mode, that fixes the problem. I can also have a sim close the doors and lock them, and then reopen them to get rid of that visual glitch. However, if I leave the game and load it again, the doors appear closed again and I have to replace them or have a sim close and open them again. This is only happening with the biometric vault doors17Views0likes0Commentslaptop recommendations
hi everyone! i’m looking for some advice as i am thinking of purchasing a laptop strictly for gaming purposes (mainly sims 4 but maybe also some roblox + minecraft). i am not at a point in life just yet where i can invest in a desktop pc set up or a crazy expensive gaming laptop. the most i am probably comfortable spending is about £680 and even then i am wary as i do not want to waste my money on anything that may run into problems. i have a few options currently but am open to other reccomendations and also would like to hear if there would be any issues with my picks so far. (i am in the uk btw) thanks for the help!Graphical sky issues in several neighborhoods
Hey there! I wonder what caused this view/sky glitch that happened appear only in Del Sol Valley map? I set distance setting as high and is still a problem, don’t use any mods/reshades etc. I already tried to start a new game, still. Cleared my cache, same still. Please help! this is without custom content clearly as i've tried to start with a clean slate 2 times already. they game loads up fine sometimes it crashes 5 minutes in ( i have a 64g ram with my 4090 graphics card). i have already tried the safe boot route as well. nothing is working. the crash happens 5 minutes after loading up a household. i've tried lowering video settings (that seemed to help it last 10 minutes but it crashed....) i loaded it back up with the lowervideo settings and it still crashed after 5 minutes.Sims 4 is suddenly really laggy on my MacBook Air M2
I've been playing Sims 4 on my MacBook for a while now and have never had a problem. Game always ran smoothly. Around 2 weeks ago my game started lagging a lot and has been doing so ever since. Every time I try loading a save it takes years, and it does the same when I try saving and exiting the game. The actual gameplay is so laggy that I sometimes can't even move my camera. I play with mods and CCs and I've checked numerous times if some are outdated or colliding with each other, but it all checks out. I've tried lowering all of my graphics but it doesn't help at all. I saw someone say that enabling retina display could potentially fix the issue, but no luck. I don't really think storage is the problem either. It was completely fine up until 2 weeks ago and my storage capacity hasn't really changed. I'm not the most tech savvy person out there, so I'm really hoping someone else knows how to fix this. The game is barely playable. Are these laptop specs ideal to run Sims 4?
I'm looking to get a new laptop soon and the highest demand that it would need to go through is running The Sims 4. I do have a very large mods folder that I am looking to cut down (size and poly count). (I would like to have a little wiggle room if I have a few files that have a higher poly count (up to 13-20K poly count) I have a few expansions, game packs, and stuff packs. I am looking to get more DLC in the future. I want something that will run the game efficiently, has decent enough size for DLC and CC, and decent memory to still do other things in the background. Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7535U 4.5 GHZ or AMD Ryzen 7 7735U 4.7GHz Memory: 16 GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM (1x16GB) (I would prefer 16 GB RAM since I have 8GB currently and running The Sims and Google Chrome together is a struggle) Internal Storage 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD Graphics: AMD Radeon 660M or 680M Graphics 1920 x 1200 screen resolutionShiny Textur on Dogs and Cats
Since a while dogs and cats in live mode randomly got a shiny textur. It removes itself as randomly as it showes up. I've already removed all mods, repaired the game and started with a blank new gameplay folder. The bug keeps apearing. It apears on every pet never the less if they wear collars or anything else or not. My graphic setings are as high as possible and my pc don't have any problems with that (hardware power is more then enough).14Views0likes4Comments
