A whole lot of Issues with Console
I play on my PlayStation 4 every time I log in then the game resets and I have to reset my settings and say no to the tutorials again. Then when I enter cheat codes the cheat code bar will not go away. I have not played sims and I tried again it is making me not want to play anymore. EA FIX IT! I feel like as a console player ea pays more attention to pc players and I do not feel appreciated even when I buy expansion packs and play the exact same game as pc players just on a different system.
[GT] Windenburg Winsdlar Map is Wrong
Feel like I'm being gaslighted going from the map screen to the neighborhood. Is this how the map is supposed to look when in the neighborhood in Windslar? I put this house at this property because it was by the water but... there is no water in the neighborhood. The road is also on the wrong side of the house. I always felt there was something off with this neighborhood but now I think I know why. The valley goes down but with houses, no water. So confused. Please. Help? [LD] Memorial Portraits No Longer Generate Image of a Sim and Show Up Blank
The memorial portraits from the Life and Death Expansion Pack appear to be bugged as they no longer generate an image of a deceased sim, instead showing a blank white image. Extra Information: I'm on Windows 11 PC I'm on Version 1.117.227.1030 DX11 of the game. I don't have Journey to Batuu and Outdoor Retreat Game Packs, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio and Luxury Party Stuff Packs, Refined Living Room, First Fits, Industrial Loft, Courtyard Oasis, Country Kitchen, Throwback Fit and Fashion Street Kits. Found initially in a modded save, but I tested in a non modded new save and the issue still occured.
"Objects" setting texture changes
Since the last update (Aug 19) I've been having issues with the in-game textures. I've always had the "objects" setting on medium and never had a problem with textures looking jagged or grainy. This update made some changes to performance issues and promised improvements, Enhanced rendering performance for smoother visuals. but now I have to have the setting on High to get my game to look the same as before..with that comes increased gpu temps so I'm not sure how thats an improvement..is anyone else with a less than top end graphics card experiencing this? I tried going back to dx9 and that fixes the texture issue, but brings with it a line/tear when zooming in and out thats annoying to try an ignoreGame Break after entering CAS
I’d like to start this off with that I play on Xbox. I feel like I won’t be able to properly explain what’s going on but any time I enter CAS from live mode my game starts freaking out. I can’t toggle cursor mode so I can’t actually click anything, if I try to enter the pause menu it pops up but doesn’t actually pause the game (normally background behind the menu potions darkens and it’s not doing that. I can’t save, can’t exit CAS unless I toggle cursor like 6 times and move to the exit CAS. Now once I am finally able to exit CAS the pause menu is still broken. Sometimes when I had this issue from past updates, entering manage worlds would fix it but that just makes the screen go black (world speed and everything else is still there but everything else is black.) I did have cas.fulleditmode active and tried to enter without it active after I had to fully quit my game and it was still an issue. not sure if any of that made sense but if anyone else is having this issue PLEASE tell me how to fix it :)
Can't play in fullscreen and other issues
Platform: PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? I Mean i Only Started Playing What is your current game version number? The Newest on one i think i just installed it What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?All Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? What happens when the bug occurs? Im on a inf loading screen & i cant change my stuff to full screen cause when i do it it just goes back to windowed or something else and when i make my sim i pick a world i pick the house then when i do pick the house it goes back to the menu to pick the world or it gives me a inf loading screen What do you expect to see? Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods Yes But the mods are updated And Also i have a 4060
Weird graphical glitch showing random windows everywhere
As the title says I'm getting this weird bug where it looks like window objects are randomly showing up everywhere. As a fix, I've tried repairing my game, deleting caches and then restoring the deleted cache, disabling mods, loading older saves, and restarting my PC but nothing has worked so far. I've attached images of the glitch happening in game. I'd really appreciate the help because I've tried everything and its still appearing. Thanks🙂
