[SwMDS] Getting Back Into Building & Loving It!
Greetings Fellow Simmers, As a loooooonnnnnggg time Sims gamer (started in 2000), I've build over that time with all the iterations of the game I have played. I have a tendency to tweak builds to suit my needs. However, lately, I've returned to adding my own creations. I have built the SimChella Lot, My Real Kitchen and a few others. Today I'm sharing images of my newest build. It is actually a tent created from watching a video. I wanted to test whether it could be built in the game. Hope to share the lot soon. Just Keep Simmin' with MsDsweets12Views1like2CommentsNew Zombie for Plants vs. Zombies 2

(i know there's an already existing topic but i don't know where to place it if it's haunted spooky pack combined but it also mentioned hotel with my idea but i place it here just to make sure, if there's already a topic which is spooky/haunted pack idea related you can place it there) What if we can have a spooky hotel pack no one wants to visit at except people with adventurous (if you have Snowy Escape installed) or brave trait? (the latter it's a reward trait but i think it should be in a personality trait in CAS) maybe Risk-Taker or Fearless as alternative as personality trait in CAS and an another one is Fearfull/Troubled meaning they are automatically scared of ghosts and scary things and runaway from it (similair to storm weathers with thunder but differently) With a dark themed world and maybe call it "Spooky/Haunted Hollow" or "Sleepy Hollow" or something? I almost wanted to say Abandoned Hollow but that name will be way too similair to the Vampire world called "Forgotten Hollow" I don't know which it should be based on but we can have a new venue type called "Scary Hotel" with a new lot challenge called "evil ghosts" (items will break more often like tables, chairs, some sort of a collections, broken curtains and windows, the lamps that will break so your sim have to deal without electricity, the mirror will breaks to name a few) only the most bravest sims will visit the hotel, one con, you have to take care of the hotel by yourself because the hotel is haunted Abandoned park, dark nature, death plants, cemetries more similair to Forgotten Hollow (not a cemeteries venue type though) which is very haunted Foods and Drinks that are often spoiled Not directly a occult but maybe a Skeleton will have to do? depending on your personality you either fight, freeze or flight...maybe a new death type too? (similair to the bunny one in Henford-On-Bagley that comes with Cottage Living pack if you interract with a Skeleton with my pack ideas) I think based on how its behaving it's a bit similair to mold and the part people act very strange like they are cursed or something, it's a bit similair to Zombies i shared in someone elses post too (Skeleton is the most similair to the ones in Strangerville) New venue type "Spooky Residental House" (similair to Paranormal house, just more cursed) Aspiration: Spooky Chaser? (Location or in Deviance category) As for the pack name: Haunted Living? or Haunted Adventure? It may be the darkest world out of all the worlds we have so far, maybe even more so than "Ravenwood" Maybe as new collection each kind of spiders? (or atleast some of them) Maybe only 8 lots? (more than Forgotten Hollow which is probably the most similair to this world idea i have in mind but definitely lesser than Ravenwood) Buy/Build items: scary things like a scary bath, showers, tables, chairs, beds, desk, fridge etc scary walls and floors, doors and windows too As for the pack type: maybe Game Pack? (i struggle between Expansion Pack and Game Pack but it sure is bigger than Stuff Pack, i think Game Pack match the best) 🎃My ideas can be usefull for halloween with seasons installed🎃 (I hope ea or the team sees my ideas based on my idea with haunted hotel with scary things) if you have vampires, werewolves or maybe even realm of magic packs installed the chances are higher they win a battle against the skeleton(s) because of some kind of powers 👇Read the comment for better descriptions👇171Views0likes1Commentgrowing together refresh
Growing together added a lot of interesting gameplay features related to infants and toddlers. However, there are still a lot of features that can be added to further enhance gameplay. Especially since business and hobbies now allows sims to operate daycares. functional strollers and car seats: I'd like to see a stroller object that can be used to take walks and jog with infants and toddler. The infant carrier is not enough. I'd also like to see functional car seats that can be attached to bicycles. Sims can ride around on bikes with their infant or toddler secured in the car seat. infant walkers: infants can practice standing up and walking using new functional walkers. add more rattle and teething ring options. craftable baby food: allow parents to craft jars of baby food and flavored milk bottles from harvestables and cottage living milk. This will be a great feature, especially since a lot of babies acquire the picky eater quirk. reusable cloth diapers. Sims can purchase cloth diapers via the computer or craft them via the cross-stitch box, which can be washed and reused if laundry day is installed. Cloth diapers can be stored in the changing table. If the sim runs out of clean diapers, they will have to resort to a disposable diaper. refillable water bottles: there is a blue water bottle that came with growing together (debug) and I'm not sure why there isn't a feature for sims to purchase water bottles, fill them, and place them in their inventory. If a sim is traveling outdoors during hot weather, they can use the water bottle to cool off. There should also be a functional thermos object that allows sims to transfer hot beverages into the thermos, place it in their inventory, and use it when traveling in cold weather. better interactive shells. There are a few world objects in San Sequoia that should be interactive shells. The greenhouse should allow sims to increase their gardening skill with rabbithole interactions. The boathouse in hopewell hills should be an interactive shell that allows sims to order food and drink and use travel interactions (similar to the business and hobbies train station).23Views1like0CommentsHave active Sims wear the same festival-appropriate clothing as other attendees
I love the Romance Festival's palette and never think to have outfits prepared when my Sims attend a festival. It would be great to have the option to switch to a festival themed outfit. Another option would be to add more than t-shirts, etc for sale at the festival booth. And the Ravenwood gatherings... folk in crow suits? I'd love to have every resident wear something similar. :) I haven't seen a mod that handles this.10Views0likes0CommentsMasterlist of feedback
To start off, this is the beginning of a master list of things that need fixing in the Sims. This list will be updated throughout. This is my opinion and I know a lot of Simmers will agree with whats on this list already. This list can be edited, so if you like to add something to this, feel free to comment on this post. This list is in no particular order or alphabetized. CAS - More columns than just the two we have. I know there's a mod for it, but it would be nice if it's implemented in the game itself. Build Mode - Better organization of the build menu. We have curtains that need to be organized on wall height, because now, everything is just criss-cross all over the place. The same goes for mirrors and everything else that has different wall heights. - More fireplaces. The one's we already have get old real fast and just boring. And I would love to see fireplaces that are tailored to wall height. When I'm building a house with medium or tall walls, the fireplaces do not match, because they're for short wall heights only. - More medium & tall doors. We have a ton of doors for the small wall height, but when it comes to medium or tall, our options are very slim. We don't have any one or two tile doors that are entirely closed off so we can use them for bathrooms and/or bedrooms or any other closed off rooms. We are forced to use small wall height doors, which looks (in my opinion) very silly with taller wall heights. It would also be nice if we had matching swatches for all wall height doors. - More medium & tall windows. The same goes for what I wrote above. The medium/tall windows are absolutely ugly. It would be nice if we got matching windows for every tall height whenever we get new windows. - More round wall doors/windows. We all know how glitchy the round walls are. They never work properly. And the amount of doors and windows that fit on round walls is just abysmal. There's just so little choice of what we can use. What needs fixing There's a lot in The Sims that needs fixing. Bugs that have been ignored for way too long, for some reason. I just don't understand why some years long standing bugs still haven't been fixed. - Freezes. When a floor or ceiling is deleted, the freezes just peek through to the inside or blocks paths. Or they get deleted in general. Also to use freezes on all wall heights instead of just medium/tall. Make 3 different heights available for all freezes, so they match the wall heights. We also need more freezes added and freezes that actually match their columns... - Fridges that perfectly wedge between counters & walls. Even with the new retro ones, there's a HUGE gap in between. Same with the stoves. - No trim wallpaper. Some brick wallpapers don't have matching swatches. The same goes for any wallpaper that has a trim. There is no matching one without when there's more matching swatches for that same wallpaper. - Corner wallpaper not matching up properly. There's wallpapers with 'columns' already added on the wallpaper. It NEVER lines up properly with corners. It's on one corner, but not on the other, where its supposed to be. - It's still raining inside people's homes... - Disappearing items when you want to wallpaper an entire room or anything else that makes is disappear. What Simmers like to see added - Customizable slots. Or just better slots in general. For example: there's side tables that are quite big that have only 1 slot. I know we can use MOO/alt placement, but more slots or custom slots would be great! - More options for roof trims. This one is self explanatory. We have like 10, or not even 10 options and it would be nice to see some more variety added. - More wall trims also. The ones we have are very limited and don't always fit the builds we are building. - Matching counters/upper cabinets.108Views4likes6Comments✿ imoger's creations ✿ NEW: 3 new sims - Sleek Bathroom & Villa Harmonia ✿

I'd like to see several new careers and gameplay features added to enhance the game. Many of the features and careers correlate to each other. Feature suggestions: vehicle docking and maintenance: currently there are 2 kinds of transportation vehicles available in game: bicycles and water vehicles. This new feature will add new maintenance and docking requirements for vehicles. Sims who own a vehicle will need to perform maintenance on the vehicle to keep it in working order and vehicles can now be "docked" at docking stations in world. Bicycles will need maintenance on their tires and chains. Tires may deflate or become punctured. Sims can inflate tires with an air pump, which can be purchased via the computer or replace a punctured tire. Bicycle chains will need to be lubricated with oil regularly or they will become rusty and break. A broken chain must be replaced. Bicycles can now be docked to bike racks by purchasing a bike lock. Bicycles will have new interactions available: secure to bike rack (requires bike lock), sabotage (puncture tire), and lean against nearby object. Bicycles can be leaned against the following objects: trash cans and dumpsters, lampposts, trees, fountains, parking meters, benches, fire hydrants, and fences. A bike that is not properly docked may be stolen or the owner may receive a citation. Aqua zips now require fuel to operate. Fuel can be purchased via the computer or crafted using an insect farm. Aqua zips can now be docked at boat trailers. Aqua zips will have new interactions available: secure to boat trailer, sabotage (place sugar in gas tank), and leave afloat. An improperly secured aqua zip can be stolen, drift out to sea and become lost, and the owner can receive a citation. Outrigger canoes now require sail maintenance to remain functional. Sails can become damaged due to wear or sabotage. Sails can be purchased via the computer. Canoes can now be docked at a pier. Canoes will have new interactions available: secure to pier, sabotage (rip sail), and leave afloat. A canoe that is improperly secured may be stolen, drift out to sea and become lost, and the owner can receive a citation. disruptive behavior: sims can now perform a variety of disruptive behaviors which include: dine and dash (dine out), shoplifting at retail stores and small business venues (no klepto trait required), sims can now damage and sabotage several objects (tables, chairs, electronics, appliances, vehicles, windows, and craftable items), sims can perform soliciting interactions on retail venues using a performance stage or sales table, sims can now fight other sims can knock them into objects. Electronics will now have increased volume controls to create excessive noise (walkby NPCs may hear the noise and complain to the household members or call a police officer). Sims can report a siting of shady sims and a police officer will respond to the call to investigate. The shady sim may be taken into custody. functional landline telephones: functional landline objects that have a dialing animation and perform most of the same interactions as the phone UI. They can be used for certain careers, events, and situations. refuse disposal and littering: sims can now litter by throwing trash on the ground, kicking over trash cans, and improperly disposing of refuse (sims with certain traits are more likely to litter). Various objects that require repair or maintenance can now be disposed of as refuse. Once the item becomes damaged and is in need of repair, sims will have the option to place it in their inventory, travel to any lot, and dispose of it on the ground. If caught, the sim will receive a citation for littering. Lots with the landfill challenge are more likely to experience refuse disposal. new pet behaviors: cats can now climb outdoor trees and growing together treehouses and become stuck. When stuck they will need to be rescued by a nearby sim. Pet owners can also call the fire department and ask for a pet rescue. fire extinguishing system: currently, when sims start a fire on lot, the smoke alarm will summon fire fighters to extinguish the fire, the fire utility panel will activate and extinguish the fire, or the sim will summon a fire extinguisher in order to extinguish the fire. However, I believe firefighting should be more realistic and make use of several objects already available throughout various packs. The following objects will now be useable for fire extinguishing purposes: get to work wall mounted fire extinguisher, fire hydrants, fountains, and bird baths. Sime can purchase a fire extinguisher via the computer or place a water feature on their lot. Sims will use fire extinguishers to extinguish fires or collect a bucket of water from a water feature and extinguish the fire. If a fire extinguishing object is not available, sims will have to wait for the fire department to respond. Fire utility panels, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers will deteriorate over time. The smoke alarm will need battery replacements to remain functional, the fire extinguisher has a set number of uses before becoming empty, and the fire utility panel will require maintenance to remain functional. Sims can call the fire department and request a fire safety inspection (functions like the eco inspection). Security mechanics. Now that burglars have been reintroduced to the game, I believe new security mechanics should be added to enhance gameplay. Here are my suggestions. Doors can be upgraded to add security locks (handiness skill). This will make it harder for burglars to enter lots. Burglars can enter lots via a HSY escape window. Escape windows can be upgraded to add security bars (handiness skill) making them inaccessible unless the bars are removed. Functional safes (base game not get famous) can be purchased and will allow sims to store valuables. Burglars will have to break into the safe (blow torch) to access valuables. Large pets and servos can confront burglars when discovered. Occult sims can use their abilities to incapacitate or confront burglars. Sims can install functional security cameras on their lot. Security cameras will record footage, which can be viewed later via a computer, tablet, or phone. If sims are away for an extended period of time (vacation), they can turn on their security camera. If a burglary occurs while sims are away and is recorded on the security camera, sims can view the footage and confront the burglar. Sims who have incapacitated or confronted a burglar can call the police department. a GTW detective will be summoned to the lot to investigate and apprehend the burglar. This will activate a 72 hour buff, deterring burglary events until the buff expires. Sims can also call the police department for a security assessment. A police officer will be summoned to perform a security inspection (functions like eco inspection). Sims can call the police department and report shady sims. A police officer will be summoned to the lot and encourage the shady sim to "move along." This will activate a 48 hour buff, deterring the appearance of shady sims until the buff expires. criminal citations: sims can receive a citation for disruptive behavior, improper vehicle docking, and littering. Citation fees can be paid via the mailbox. police officer (GTW): this career will differ greatly from the detective career as the main focus will be on community policing and crime prevention instead of investigation and forensic analysis. Police officers will have duties that need to be fulfilled at the precinct; however, the career is centered around handling disputes in the community. Officers begin their shift at the precinct. While at the precinct, officers will attend to civilian inquires at the front desk, supervise parolee check ins, and file paperwork. Civilian inquires can be made at the front desk or over the telephone (landline). Common inquires include: reporting or collecting lost property, reporting sitings of shady sims, reporting disruptive behavior, paying citations, reporting a burglary, and requesting a security inspection. NPCs can hand in lost items to the precinct and the officer on duty must catalogue and store the item (property storage locker). If an NPC comes in to claim a lost item, they will be asked to provide proof of ownership (receipt, photo, insurance policy, etc). Once proof is provided, the item will be returned and a report will be filed. NPCs can report individuals for disruptive behavior (refer to above reference). Civilians can pay citation fees at the front desk. Citations fees are deposited into the precinct fund and can be used to host a new social event, the civil servant ball. Criminal parolees (criminal sims apprehended via detective career situations) will have to come into the precinct to check - in on a weekly basis. They simply need to sign a log at the front desk. However, if they fail to check in, the officer on duty will pay a visit to their residence. Community duties will include: issuing citations for criminal violations, inspecting vehicle docking stations, patrolling community venues for litter and refuse, investigating complaints of disruptive behavior and shady sim sitings, and performing security inspections. Security inspections can be performed on residential and community venues. Police officers will inspect the area and assess the risk of burglary based on item values. They will install home security systems, make security recommendations, and provide information on burglary prevention. fire fighter: fire fighters will work at a new custom venue (fire station) and perform various work tasks. Most of their duties will be performed in the community, however, there will have a few tasks to perform at the fire station. Fire fighters need to have high fitness and can work out using equipment available at the fire station, they will respond to civilian inquires at the front desk, and travel to lots to attend emergency call outs. Civilians can make inquires to the fire station via the front desk or telephone (landline). Civilian inquires include: purchasing fire extinguishers, requesting a fire safety assessment, asking for fire prevention information, and scheduling fire safety demonstrations. Fire safety inspections can be performed on residential and community venues. Fire fighters will inspect the area in order to assess the fire risk, make equipment recommendations, install fire utility panels, and provide information on fire safety and prevention. Fire safety demonstrations can be scheduled at restaurant venues and the copperdale high school. Fire fighters will travel to the lot, demonstration how to use fire extinguishing equipment, provide information of fire safety and prevention, and hold fire drills. Fire fighters will attend emergency call outs to extinguish fires and rescue pets.14Views1like0CommentsCan we have a non-tropical beach world as basegame?
