Sims4 Installing Improperly
Recently, Ive been receive this message on my Sims4 game before launching “An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later” I’ve literally done ALL the troubleshooting I could possibly do. I’ve removed all my mods, uninstalled/reinstalled the EA App/Sims4 game, cleared cache, repaired, reset my entire computer, changed the installed path, and did everything that was suggested by ChatGpt. I finally discovered that the folder inside the EA Games folder called “Games” is suppose to have “Bin, Delta, Data, Skins” inside it, mine only had “Bin”. According to ChatGpt, that’s why my game won’t launch. So again, I did a bunch of things to try to get them to “appear”. Nothing works…has anyone ever heard of this. How did this happen?Switching to external hard drive
My game was working fine before moving it to my external harddrive to clear space on my pc. When I moved it over I uninstalled my game, reinstalled it in created a new folder in my D:/programfiles/(placed in folder here) and tried relaunching. I didnt launch it with any of my backed up mods or saves just tried to launch it straight. It will not launch at all. It sits for a moment then says "there is an error on our end." I'm also not able to move my saves or my mods into the new folder at all because I cannot delete the new sims 4 folder to replace it with the copy of my old sims folder (the one with the saves and mods). It says I dont have permission to remove it. Can anyone help with these issues?37Views0likes4CommentsLaunching EA app and Sims 4 doesn't work
I will start by saying I have deleted the ea app and restarted my computer twice. I started by downloading the sims 4 through the steam app, the sims 4 said it was all complete and I could launch, it would not launch no matter what I tried. I then went to EA and tried to download the EA app because I thought maybe it was steam giving me problems. That is when I learned I cannot even open the EA app, it gets done with the install and the icon is on my home screen by then every time I try to open it gives me different error messages, except I can only see a part of the error, the entire error box doesn't open. I have tried every fix that I can find and nothing is working. I tried talking to the AI chatbot and that sent me to try and open the EA Error Reporter, I went to try and do that but it won't even open that. I can't figure out how to contact EA directly. My laptop doesn't have any programs on it so I am very confused and I just want to play the Sims 4Language options
Hello team, I have a big problem with the Sims 4 and the language options. I want to play The Sims 4 in English. However, I am from Ukraine and the only languages that I can choose from are: - Polish; - Chech; - Russian. I understand that the Sims 4 is region locked or something like that but there is no Ukrainian language to begin with. I do not understand Polish or Chech. Russia literally STARTED THE WAR??? I do not want to have anything in common with them or their language. I do not ask for Ukrainian language (which would be a great addition to be honest), I just ask for the "Universal" language - English. Please let me play the game in language that I understand. English already exists in your game for most of the users. Just allow Ukrainians play in that language too.Error
Hi, today Steam isn’t launching The Sims. I also tried running it through EA, but that didn’t work either. When I verify the game files in Steam, it says there’s an issue with one of the folders. I tried deleting and reinstalling the game, but the download stops at 99% and shows an error. Before verifying the files, the game simply wouldn’t launch or respond when I clicked on it.How to repair Sims4
I tried to open my game today after an update after not playing for a week + getting new CC, and it kept saying I couldn’t open due to corrupted game files/mods. So I tried to delete what I thought were the problem files (but I can’t really tell) and now it doesn’t give me that message but it just won’t open beyond the Origin launch message. I keep seeing that repairing the game might fix this, and that you can do that from the EA app but it’s not working. I can’t right click on the game and when I click manage it only shows me my add ons. Please help I have no idea what to do and am hesitant to download sims 4 studioSolved112Views0likes2CommentsComputer and External Drive
Any ideas????????????? I've been playing my game on an external drive. I recently had an issue with my iCloud was seen by Apple. We ended up turning it off. I go to play, plug in my drive, and nothing was loaded in the game however, all the information is still on the drive. I was able to see that I have another electronics arts folder. When I looked in there, everything was empty. I moved my mods and saves in that folder, then everything was working again. So now it only recognizes my saves and mods on the computer and not the drive how it was originally. I have repaired the game multiple times. I have took out the mods and placed them back I made sure the installer location on the EA app has my external listed I've run out of ideas. I hope this made sense. Basically, I have the game in two locations, but I only want it to recognize one.Game not downloading
I recently started to play the sims 4 again and when I tried to play everything was disoriented and wack on screen and it might be because I haven't played in about a year or so my mods might need to be updated. I followed the advice to solve the problem which was to uninstall the sims 4 and reinstall it after clearing my cache if it didn't help fix the problem so I did. Another thing to know is that I ran out of space on my computer C drive or local drive and got an external 2 tb hard drive to put my game on. I keep trying to download it on my new hard drive, but it just isn't working. Please help I love to create sims and i really want to create sims now that school is out.
