Where do I install the Sims 4
Okay so I couldn't save my sims game anymore because there wasn't enough space on my drive. I looked into it and apparently I installed my sims game on my school's one drive (i don't go to school anymore so if anyone knows how to uninstall that please let me know too). But anyway i uninstalled my sims game to re-install it on a different location on my PC. The game started up just fine. Now when i wanted to add all my CC it didn't work, it also looked different then i'm used too. Now i tried different location ect but it still looks like that. (see picture below). Can someone please help me out on what i'm doing wrong, and how to fix it.
Sim 4 Infiniate blue loading screen. No end in sight. Please send help.
This has been happening since at least 12/13/25 according to my last save. That date is now ingrained in my head. Problem: when loading up my sims i press resume and it leads to blue screen. If i pick load save and then play, it loads to blue screen. Sometimes i will hear the sound queue that the game has loaded but it infect has not and im stuck on the same screen. Factors: No CC or mods anymore. removed it during the 50/50 method before i tried with no mods and issue persisted. Was in the middle of a vacation with sims during my last save. Attempted and failed fixes: -Removing CC and mods. -Clearing localthumbcache.package. -Clearing EA app cache. -Moving the Household. -Repairing the game. -Change Driver x thingy to 9. I am losing my mind and about to find a dupe for this game. Help me before i go completely insane. I beg you. I have over 6000 hours and a generation challenge that i'm in gen 3 for. I have so much time and money into a game I cant even play.
The game shows a white screen and freezes when you try to minimize.
The game displays a white screen when minimized or when the resolution changes, and it won't stay open. Has anyone had this problem? I have updated my drives, the game, etc., and it still stays white and freezes up, where I have to restart my computer completely. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem?Sims saves and packs
I just recently started playing the sims again on the same account I’ve had for a long time and all of my packs are deleted and when I try to make a family and save the family the next time I come into the game everything is deleted. I updated the sims I repaired the app and I followed the instructions on how to fix it but it still doesn’t work. How do I fix the saving issue and how do I get my packs back? I spent so much money and they are all gone and require payment to download again.
Switching to external hard drive
My game was working fine before moving it to my external harddrive to clear space on my pc. When I moved it over I uninstalled my game, reinstalled it in created a new folder in my D:/programfiles/(placed in folder here) and tried relaunching. I didnt launch it with any of my backed up mods or saves just tried to launch it straight. It will not launch at all. It sits for a moment then says "there is an error on our end." I'm also not able to move my saves or my mods into the new folder at all because I cannot delete the new sims 4 folder to replace it with the copy of my old sims folder (the one with the saves and mods). It says I dont have permission to remove it. Can anyone help with these issues?Launching EA app and Sims 4 doesn't work
I will start by saying I have deleted the ea app and restarted my computer twice. I started by downloading the sims 4 through the steam app, the sims 4 said it was all complete and I could launch, it would not launch no matter what I tried. I then went to EA and tried to download the EA app because I thought maybe it was steam giving me problems. That is when I learned I cannot even open the EA app, it gets done with the install and the icon is on my home screen by then every time I try to open it gives me different error messages, except I can only see a part of the error, the entire error box doesn't open. I have tried every fix that I can find and nothing is working. I tried talking to the AI chatbot and that sent me to try and open the EA Error Reporter, I went to try and do that but it won't even open that. I can't figure out how to contact EA directly. My laptop doesn't have any programs on it so I am very confused and I just want to play the Sims 4
Language options
Hello team, I have a big problem with the Sims 4 and the language options. I want to play The Sims 4 in English. However, I am from Ukraine and the only languages that I can choose from are: - Polish; - Chech; - Russian. I understand that the Sims 4 is region locked or something like that but there is no Ukrainian language to begin with. I do not understand Polish or Chech. Russia literally STARTED THE WAR??? I do not want to have anything in common with them or their language. I do not ask for Ukrainian language (which would be a great addition to be honest), I just ask for the "Universal" language - English. Please let me play the game in language that I understand. English already exists in your game for most of the users. Just allow Ukrainians play in that language too.
