Purchase Error
As other people have mentioned, there is a bug which won’t let you buy anything within the game, instead kicking you out of the transaction attempt with a message saying “No money removed from account” or “Restart to complete transaction” (which doesn’t do anything). A number of players have reported this, but EA won’t acknowledge the error, despite the fact that this is stopping people from giving them money. Is there anything else that can be done at this point? Why would they ignore this?
Missing building materials marked as “owned”
I posted earlier on Reddit about missing some building materials marked as owned from a festival: the herringbone masonry floor during enchanting autumn, the stand-alone straw/ thatched roof from Nalani’s beach house, and now it seems the Behr container walls. I do not have any of these building textures/surfaces—they’re only available in the house templates, not independently, and I can’t choose them as an option on any build without using that template—and I don’t have a bunch of spare templates hanging around. Have people here had the same issue, and if so for how long? Did anyone have luck with support? How can this be fixed?
Something happened with your download?
Two weeks ago I was updating my Sims FreePlay and then it kept on giving me a notification that said something happened with your download, it has stopped. So I uninstalled the game from my iphone and then I reinstalled it and then I have had trouble accessing the cloud. So the only option I have now is to restart the game from scratch or keep re-trying. It is so annoying because it keeps on saying download failure and it always stops on 95%. It can only download 601MB out of 627MB. I have enough storage on my iphone, I have great uncapped Wi-Fi and signal, I’ve even tried someone else’s Wi-Fi and mobile data. I have reinstalled the game multiple times and I have restarted my device several times. I am really upset that there is nothing I can do, so if you guys have any tips please let me know🫶🏻
Can’t buy items in the game
Hey y’all, I’ve been having this same problem for over 4 months now and can’t seem to get help from EA support so I’m hoping someone on here may be able to help! So I have an iPhone XR that I play on and when I try to but stuff using real money (like festival pass or cupcakes ) it just times out and pops up saying “no money was removed from your account” the paying is suppose to come off my credit card linked to my apple account and it works fine in other games. I’ve also tired google this issue and have had no luck😥 so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! *i've thought about deleting the whole game account, that’s mentioned under settings but not sure if that would work.*
Non playable sim
I have a sim that’s just hanging around, he shows in the family portrait but when I click to make sim playable, I can choose him but no option to make him playable, I also cannot remove him. I really want this sim gone as he is like 4 generations old. Is this a unfixable bug? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I’ve tried moving him to a different home, nothing works.
