Franchise mode splash windows and game freezing
Dear EA Sports Support Team, I am experiencing multiple recurring issues in NHL 25 that significantly impact gameplay. Below are the key issues and steps to reproduce where applicable: 1. Line Change & Tactics Window Freezing Issue: Splash windows for line changes and tactics sometimes get stuck, making it impossible to change lines or adjust strategies. "Coming Up Matches" Window Not Displaying Correctly Issue: The in-game "Coming Up Matches" window sometimes does not show at all or gets stuck on the screen. Last Scorer UI Overlapping Match Details Issue: The last scorer’s details remain stuck in the top left corner, covering important match information such as the game clock and score. Promotional Events Not Displaying Properly Issue: During events like "Bobble Head Night," the announcers mention the promotion, but when the camera pans to show the bobblehead, the game lags, and the promotional content does not appear. Reproducibility: Occurs every time a promotional event is triggered. 5. Major Issue – Line Energy Freeze After Fights Issue: After fights, the line energy display becomes stuck and does not update. Can't change lines or tactics. The only ways to remove the frozen UI are: • Waiting until the period ends, which results in a freeze lasting several minutes. • Pressing the options button, which also causes a freeze for several minutes. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but After all of the troubleshooting steps and trying wired/wireless connections no matter what I do my world of chel is so laggy to the point that its unplayable. In game it'll play fine for a few seconds, pause then almost fast forward as if someone is controlling it with a TV remote. It's horrible. This happened already twice in a game. My player supposed to take a faceoff is standing outside the faceoff circle with the other players when the puck drops. Opponent center is at the spot. Faceoff are getting pretty hard to win. I'm playing franchise mode with PS5. Other things bugging: Can't select language. Why is that? I had to change PS5 language to English, cause I wanted my NHL in english, which is not my first language. Player heights and weights too are now in feets and pounds. I prefer the metric system. I have continuously had issues with lag and input delay in almost every online game I have played in HUT. Over the months I have read many different forums from people with the same issues but still nothing has helped. I have already tried the following -Closing and restarting the game. -Powering off the PS5 before loading up the game. -Restarting the PS5 before loading up the game.Checking my internet connection and restarting the router My current setup includes - A wired internet connection with a download speed of 885 Mbps and a upload speed of 32mbps - Wired controller connection with a PlayStation certified usbc charging play cable in hopes to reduce the input delay. - 24.5in gaming monitor that has 1920x1080 picture and can run up to 240hz. As a fan who has been playing since NHL 13, I am really disappointed with how much of a problem this has been for the past like 4-5 games . The default gameplay sliders do not create a fun experience for me. I have found a set of sliders that make the game enjoyable. Each time I finish a game all of the sliders revert back to the default ones. I have tried creating a slider preset on the game menu, but I cannot apply those slider presets in the Be a Pro game mode either. Meaning my options are spend 1/5 of my time in game adjusting the same setting over and over or just not playing the game. Unfortunately, this bug has annoyed me to the point where I've opened the game, checked to see if the sliders were fixed, saw they weren't, and closed the game. Game: NHL 25 Platform: Xbox Series S Mode: Be A Pro Bug description: During a coach conversation right before the first game of the Stanley Cup Final (playing for Colorado Avalanche), the game freezes. The scene starts, but then the image freezes completely. Music continues to play, but I cannot interact – the game becomes unresponsive. I can return to the Xbox home screen, but the game does not continue. Tried: - Restarting game (full quit, not Quick Resume) - Reloading save file before the conversation - Changing my player's clothing - No success – the issue repeats every time. The servers have been absolutely awful all week. I just lagged out of my 7th game in two days and am down 2.5K RP, do you guys not make enough money to have consistent servers for the one year life span of the game? Dressing room bugs are happening almost every single invite, how in the world does the frequency of a bug increase this drastically? Considering you guys charge $100 for a product that’s realistically worth somewhere in the realm of $39.99-$49.99 - I would assume good servers would be a given.
