Consistent input delay and lag on PS5 when playing online HUT.

Hi there. Have you tried power cycling your modem/router? If not, make sure you do that by unplugging it for 2 minutes. It would also be good to unplug your console during this time. Once it's all back online, plug in and turn on your console and try again.

Have you ran any tests for packet loss or talked to your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues? You also can try the connection troubleshooting steps here. 

I tried those things and it's still an issue. All other games I play run completely fine and don't have any of these issues. It's only NHL 25.

I give up. HUT rivals and champs have are basically unplayable.

At this point I am so fed up and sick of having to deal with the same issues every single year while EA does nothing to fix it.

How many games in a row has had issues with menu screen delays? How has the multi select feature still not been fixed even thought it has been a problem dating back near the launch of the game?

These are only a few of many examples of ongoing problems and issues with NHL games. I'm honestly dumbfounded by the lack of effort that's made to fix problems with games in this series despite fans and content creators constantly calling for changes.

To emphasize this I am going to include a link to a forum post where it basically says that EA has been aware of the L2/LT glitch for months and basically decided they aren't going to patch/fix it for the rest of the game.

It's sad to see what used to be a fun and enjoyable game series become a continuous copy and paste of mediocrity with 0 consistency in fixing problems that severely impact the quality of the game. Like I said before, I have been a fan who's played since NHL 13  and really wish I could enjoy playing but these past few games have turned a series that was once fun into an irritating inconvenience that's hard to enjoy.

We have not been having issues with the servers or game. We really don't get many complaints about this. If you are consistently delayed, there's probably something going on with your connection or TV. Can you get a video showing the delay? How bad is it? Does it stutter or do your players just feel heavy?

Yes. We've been aware of that glitch. The thing is, we can't fix it in the current game without having bigger, more detrimental effects. Rather than make pivoting worse, we're working to properly fix this. Unfortunately, that can't happen with 25. It's also very defendable. It's a pain and it's frustrating. I get that. I choose to adapt rather than let it ruin the fun for me.

The game is not copied and pasted. Just like a huge amount of other games, we have a foundation that is built upon so that we're not having one release and then rebuilding the game for several years. It doesn't make sense to do that. If it did, you'd see every other sports game without annual releases.
