Link account
Hello, I have two different Apex Legends/EA accounts linked to the same email address. The problem is that I am not receiving verification codes by email for one of the accounts. The verification codes for the other account are received normally, but for this particular account, no verification email arrives. Could you please help me resolve this issue? I would like to know: Why am I not receiving verification codes for this account? Is it possible to change the email address associated with this account? Are there any other ways to verify my identity and regain access to the account? Can EA Support manually help me restore access to the account? I can provide any information necessary to confirm that I am the owner of the account. Thank you for your help.
[Feature Request] Legend Selection: Auto-Selection & Heirloom Choice
Hello Respawn team, I would like to suggest two quality-of-life improvements to the Legend Selection screen. Both suggestions are focused on making the pre-match experience more convenient and flexible, without affecting gameplay balance. 1. Add Custom Auto-Selection Preferences for Legends Currently, if a player does not manually select a Legend before the selection timer ends, the game automatically selects an available Legend based on the player's previous play history, excluding Legends that have already been selected by teammates. This can sometimes be inconvenient, especially in Ranked. Many players temporarily switch to another window during Legend Selection, for example to check Discord, a browser, or another application. If the Legend they intended to play is selected by a teammate while they are away, they may not notice it in time. When they return to the game, the automatic selection system may choose a Legend that they do not currently want to play. This can be particularly relevant in Ranked because Legend balance and team compositions can change between seasons and patches. A Legend that a player has played frequently in the past may not necessarily be the Legend they currently prefer to use. I know the community has suggested similar ideas before, but I think this feature has become even more useful as the game and Legend balance continue to change. Suggested solution: Allow players to set their own Custom Auto-Selection Preferences for Legends. For example: Preferred Legends 1. Wraith 2. Horizon 3. Pathfinder If the player does not manually select a Legend, the game would automatically select the highest-priority available Legend from this list. If the player's first choice has already been selected by a teammate, the system would automatically move to the next available Legend on the list. This would give players more control over automatic Legend selection while keeping the existing system intact. 2. Add Heirloom Selection to the Legend Selection Screen A second quality-of-life improvement would be allowing players to select their equipped Heirloom directly from the Legend Selection screen. Apex Legends now has many Universal Heirlooms, and some players may want to use different Heirlooms depending on which Legend they are playing. However, when playing with friends or using the "Play Again" feature, a squad can continue playing together for hours without returning to the lobby. If a player wants to change their Heirloom during this time, they currently need to leave the matchmaking flow and return to the appropriate customization menu. Suggested solution: Add a small "Heirloom" button to the Legend Selection screen. For example: Legend Selection [ Wraith ] [ Horizon ] [ Pathfinder ] Heirloom: [ Hadoken ▼ ] Clicking the button could open a small selection menu showing the player's unlocked Universal Heirlooms. The player could then select the Universal Heirloom they want to use before entering the match. The exact implementation could be left to Respawn, but the main idea is to allow players to change their Universal Heirloom directly from the Legend Selection screen. Why this could be useful: This would make Universal Heirlooms much more flexible. Players would no longer need to leave their squad, return to the lobby, open the customization menu, change their Heirloom, and then start matchmaking again simply because they want to use a different Heirloom with another Legend. With more Universal Heirlooms being available, players may own several different options but still rarely use them because changing the equipped Heirloom currently requires leaving the matchmaking flow. Allowing Heirloom selection during Legend Select would make these cosmetics much easier to use naturally from one match to the next. It could also encourage players to use a wider variety of Heirlooms instead of keeping the same one equipped all the time. Overall: These two changes would primarily improve convenience and customization without changing core gameplay or balance. Custom Auto-Selection Preferences would give players more control over which Legend is automatically selected, particularly when they temporarily miss the selection screen or when their preferred Legend has already been selected by a teammate. Heirloom Selection would make Universal Heirlooms much more flexible during long sessions with friends and through the "Play Again" feature. Both features could be implemented as extensions of the existing Legend Selection UI. Thank you for considering these suggestions.
Cosmetics
As someone who really likes the cosmetics of this game can we please update a few things? I don’t see why you can only favorite a total of 8 skins/transitions. You give out endless of both but I’m only able to favorite 8 at a time?? It seems silly to me. Also, I would really love if you could either save banners to a specific skin or let us have banner presets so we don’t have to go through the process of switching them! You could even save heirloom/universal melees to specific skins as well! Or at the very least, make scrolling through the endless banner frames and trackers/badges a little easier. Clicking on each individual banner to see what it looks like gets tiring. Just please, some sort of updating is needed!!bring back the old wraith heirloom inspect animation :v
https://youtu.be/WO-kg4j6wD8?si=J0xgp_dzCcQfu_OE&t=233 this is such a small change but i can't believe the fluidity of the spam-inspect animation in the video above was eventually replaced with a much worse animation. the last time his animation was in the game was just before season 20 :/ please bring it back this was the best animation ever
Alter's Q
I want to share some feedback about Alter's tactical ability. Right now, it feels completely useless when you are in the middle of a fight. It has a similar problem to Ballistic's Q—even when you hit enemies, they just shoot you right through it. For Alter, when a fight gets intense, it is almost impossible to find a proper surface or spot to place your Q quickly. Suggested Fixes: - Place it anywhere: Let us place Alter's Q anywhere on the ground or surfaces without restriction mid-fight. - Instant Portal: Give us a portal right where we are standing so we can escape instantly. - Fix the teleport bugs: Sometimes enemies can enter the portal easily, but when I try to use it, I either get stuck, cannot get out, or get teleported to a completely random place. Please look into this!Just for clarity
Filled in your questionnaire why didn’t you ask about my ranked experience. why haven’t you asked about possible solutions to make the game better. ranked why is ranked for a team based squad comp game point system based on solo performance. Shouldn’t you be trying to promote good team play instead of reinforcing poor individual performances that just ruin the other team mates experience. also on the rare occasion I actually want to put myself threw a solo pubs experience. and seeing as ea find it absolutely impossible to make it fair in pub lobby’s coz all I seem to get is preds ?? Why don’t you use the badges you unlock as a skill based system as I’ve only the 4 k badge. But put 20 bombs only with people who have 20 bombs etc. use the badges as a skill teir stage are something along those lines. and last little rant next time you want a survey why don’t you ask all the questions about your terribly managed game and not just the questions your 1s and zeros add up to because the gamers out there that just wanna chill for a couple of hours after work getting schooled by a triple stack pred team in a plat lobby really doesn’t encourage re- visiting your game . Final final thought drop apex altogether and make titanfall 3 with an actual advertisement we’ve endured this crap long enough.
Dropzones are better for Ranked.
I hop on to play a couple of games after a dinner nap. My very first game I'm elected jumpmaster. Yay me!!!!! The map is BM and my teammates want to land Quarantine Zone. That's cool and all, but I'M THE JUMPMASTER!!!!! LIKE IT OR NOT!!!! I survey the map and decide that Production Yard is a great POI drop and it has purple loot. My teammates detach and go to Quarantine Zone anyways. They die immediately. I respawn them they run off and die again. How are these types of scenarios good for Ranked? Whenever I'm not the jumpmaster I land with my teammates. Period. When I play Ranked I only care about endgames. That's what I enjoy the most. I don't enjoy sporadic gameplay. If Ranked is just about running Skirmisher, dropping hot, and winging it then that is not a good direction for this mode. Most games I pass jumpmaster and kiss my teammates butt every game. Sorry if that's not fun for me🤷 Lastly, dropzones are better for solo queue players. Removing that first layer of confusion is a better format. Like I mentioned in the past, Ranked players care about "quantity over quality". How many games can I drop hot in order to rank up? When it should be "how many quality games does it take to rank up?" Also, being jumpmaster and finding an ideal POI doesn't take skill, it's just an observation. Why dropzones are better for Ranked. But anyways, do you. Doesn't make it right though. 🤷♂️ Everybody wanting to land at the same freaking POI every game in every mode is freaking stupid!!!! For any players in the community who are tired of these situations our only option is Discord. Unfortunately, the devs won't promote the community run Discord (or make an official Discord) so most players on Discord are tryhards. Unfortunately, Discord is the only option to avoid toxic gameplay, not just in this game, but every game.
