Excessive Shopping Cart Popups

Every time I open CAS, the cart button start blinking, when that wasn't the case before. 

Doing it EVERY TIME don't looks like the intended  result.. 

Ever since latest update I keep getting pack ads in the upper right UI. constantly. Mine keeps saying an ad about fixing appliances. I believe it's an ad for the Restoration workshop kit which I already own.

• Do you have the issue only in CAS or also in Live mode ?

Nope total vanilla. 

That's PC. 

And no, it don't blink in live mode anymore. ( Finally, absolute relief!!!!!) Only after starting CAS. From in game interactions like "plan clothing" or "new game" from the main menu. 

Seriously, an option to disable the cart button would be awesome. 

EA you have to give us the ability to stop the pop ups - I am never going to go on a star wars adventure, in a galaxy far far away that pack should go - there should be an option to disable game pack ads that you will never buy-have no interest in.  I've created a new test save today completely vanilla and in CAS the pop up flashed so I clicked on it without thinking, as I have not clicked on the shopping cart in a really long time I freaked out (not an overreaction when my game is freezing/not responding since the patch) when it turned into a full page ad (when did that change happen it just used to be the rectangle box thing).  Then I've gone into build mode and again it flashed at me, offering for me to go on a star wars adventure.  Now that you've given us the ability to "disable packs" we should have the ability to "disable ads for packs we don't want and will never ever buy no matter how much it goes on sale".  Or maybe the shopping cart feels more aggressive to me now that I am testing in a Vanilla save with no mods, I can't remember if I had a mod to make the shopping cart less aggressive.

The shopping cart is definitely more aggressive since the latest patch. It will disappear after a time but it just comes back and covers notifications and will continue to do so until you click on the cart and open the store button. It's very intrusive. It also makes me LESS inclined to buy DLC I don't own.  I already know which packs I own and which ones I don't, so if I want to buy I pack I already know where to look. I don't need to be bombarded with ads. Popups when I launch/before getting to the main menu, ads along the side of the main menu, now I'm forced to click on the shopping cart if I want to read notifications. It's unacceptable.

I agree the shopping cart is much more aggressive since the latest patch. Before patch I just ignored it being there (it thankfully didn't blink at me) and played my game. Now, well now the cart is constantly trying to get me to buy something, that I already own.  Unless of course I open the store of DLC, that I already own and close it, once it actually loads.    

Before the patch on 8/19, do you know what happened when I clicked on the cart by accident?  It simply gave me a quick message that I already owned everything and that was it. I then went on with what I was actually doing with my sims.  Now, well I hope I don't accidentally click on that stupid cart again because it takes forever to load the store window. 

The full screen ads when we load the game are bad enough, but this shopping cart change is interrupting my playing.  I don't like that at all.  It makes me not want to play and not playing means I will just walk away from this game.  With all the hours I have spent playing, I've gotten my moneys worth out of it, so yes if/when I feel like EAxis has crossed the line, I will walk away.  I'm not saying that as a threat, just a fact.

I shouldn't have to get a mod (that I don't want) to get rid of the shopping cart (that I also never wanted).
