Stuck on Family Photo Screen After CAS (June 30 2026 Update)
After the June 30 2026 update, I can’t load into gameplay when I create a new Sim in CAS. I make the Sim (or household), click done, and it just gets stuck forever on the family photo/household preview screen. It never actually loads the world. This only happens with brand new households created in CAS. If I add a household straight from the Gallery or through Manage Worlds, it loads fine. I’ve already removed all mods and the entire Mods + Trays folders, repaired the game multiple times in the EA App, cleared the cache files, and even tried a full user files reset. Still no luck. No mods or CC at all right now.Endless loading
I am having endless loading it is taking forever to load into my sims house from the main screen with little mods since the March 23, 2026 update when I go in vannila there is no issues only with cc/mods. Something corrupted the game with the update that I cannot use my cc/mods. It takes from 2-4 to load with little mods which is crazy.
Very long loading times and UI issues after Update 1.125.59
Hello. After updating my game to Version 1.125.59.1030 (DX11), I started experiencing several problems that did not exist before. Problems The game takes 20–30 minutes to reach the Main Menu. Sometimes I get a white window when returning to the game after minimizing. Some UI buttons do not work correctly (especially in Create-a-Sim). Sometimes notifications or interface buttons become unresponsive. The Marketplace has also failed to load at times. Troubleshooting already completed I have already tried all of the following: Repaired the game through the EA App. Removed all Mods and Custom Content. Removed all Saves. Removed my Tray files. Created a completely new save. Restarted the computer several times. Installed Windows on a brand-new SSD. The computer is working perfectly in every other application. Test results With no Saves installed, the game appears to load faster. After creating and saving a brand-new game, the next launch becomes very slow again. The new save loads correctly after the Main Menu finally appears. The problem happens even without Mods installed. Once I hit start to play on the EA App, my game loads, very slowly. But then when it finally loads to the Home Screen to resume game, it is just a black screen. This issue occurred before the family tree update. The new family tree freezes (app unresponsive), possibly because it has more than 100 descendants. The family tree before the update displays without freezing (app unresponsive), but the tree collapses. Possible cause: The field displaying the family tree is not properly expanded.
