Eternal Loading & Game Not Responding To Controls - Xbox X
I have had problems with the game not loading the save files on the save menu UI and I am instead stuck with an eternal loading icon that would usually appear when it’s loading the save files to pick from. So I tried to exit to managed worlds to see if it would work on the map mode but then I just got stuck in an eternal transition loading screen. The game is also not responding to any control commands, meaning if I click on a roof piece and go to move it, it will allow me to ‘move’ the roof and it will show the green outline of where it will be placed once I let go, accept it won’t actually change the roof. It does the same with every other control too. It won’t change build menus from build to buy. It won’t allow me to place objects or change the terrain, it doesn’t even load the options for me to do it. It typically happens two minutes in to loading my last saved game. I had cleared cache on my Xbox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have cleared my Xbox profile and then added it back. I have even made a new sims 4 save and the problem is still happening. These two issues were happening occasionally before the latest update, but now it’s happening continuously. It also seems to happen the most when I’m adding and or moving roof pieces?Household
Whenever I click on a household it won't load it takes me back to the other worlds I have reset my computer and the game multiple times and won't work I have deleted all of my other saved games thinking they were the problem they were not it won't let me play the household I click on i have some mods on the game should I delete them and see if it works can you guys please fix it. thank you
Placing lots from the gallery freezes game/endless loading
Computer: PC, Windows 10 I am having issues with the game after the February 25th update where trying to use the gallery effectively doesn't work. I am connected to the internet and initially it'll work fine but when trying to use it repeatedly, such as trying out multiple uploaded lots, the gallery will become stuck on the loading screen and won't load anymore lots, and will tell me that it is having issues. I have tried updating my drivers, removing the tray file, removing all mods, and repairing the game but it still keeps happening. These attempts initially worked for a bit but eventually the gallery would freeze again. Any help would be appreciated. I also recently upgraded my computer so it is possible that it's related to that but as far as I can tell my GPU, CPU and ram is all working as intended. Again, I made sure drivers were updated as I heard that that could cause some issues. [MWS] Option to plan wedding available with less §1000
With less than §1000, you can plan a wedding in the Phone menu by: selecting Phone > Social > Plan a Wedding Event selecting the required amount of guest selecting the location selecting "Done". When I start the game with any of my saved games, the game won't load further than the map part. I select the family I want to play in but the game won't load and is stuck in the map part. This happens because of the mods because when I remove all the mods there isn't an issue. I tried to find if any specific mods are breaking my game but no, it's not it. This happens when there are any mods in the folder. Not a specific one that's broken. I can't play my game with mods anymore. This happened after an update months ago and still hasn't fixed. I tried deleting and redownloading the game, deleting the mods folder, localthumbcache.package and every popular fixing method. Please help, I missed TS4 so much!Endless Loading screen
I have been playing sims 4 for at least 6 years now and this bug ALWAYS happens, you play for hours on a good computer/laptop which loads everything perfectly but then out of nowhere you click "Explore worlds" or "travel" or switch to any other screen, the loading screen appears and it never goes away!!! You can leave the game for hours, that thing is NEVER gonna load and yes, you lost ALL YOUR PROGRESS!!!! It has been years! Years! And this bug has never been fixed, they are probably gonna tell me "you can save the game more often to avoid losing so much progress", no, no one wants to do that, and in case you're wondering, no, I haven't got any mods, I have the game and one expansion pack. HOURS of progress completely lost!! I've been playing since sims 1, I am a massive fan of the game but it is unacceptable that the same bug keeps coming back again and again after years invested in the game.
