Placing lots from the gallery freezes game/endless loading
Computer: PC, Windows 10 I am having issues with the game after the February 25th update where trying to use the gallery effectively doesn't work. I am connected to the internet and initially it'll work fine but when trying to use it repeatedly, such as trying out multiple uploaded lots, the gallery will become stuck on the loading screen and won't load anymore lots, and will tell me that it is having issues. I have tried updating my drivers, removing the tray file, removing all mods, and repairing the game but it still keeps happening. These attempts initially worked for a bit but eventually the gallery would freeze again. Any help would be appreciated. I also recently upgraded my computer so it is possible that it's related to that but as far as I can tell my GPU, CPU and ram is all working as intended. Again, I made sure drivers were updated as I heard that that could cause some issues. Career Selector breaks after quitting a career – Error #1009 – v1.126.73.1030 Platform: PC – Windows 11 – EA App Game version: 1.126.73.1030 Mods/CC: None Problem After a Sim quits their first normal career, the Career Selector stops working. The Sim can successfully use Find a Job when they have never had a career before. However, after quitting the career, Find a Job remains available but the career selection window does not open. This happens regardless of how the Sim tries to find a job: Phone → Career → Find a Job Computer → Career → Find a Job Career panel / briefcase → Find a Job It also happens with different careers. I tested Scientist, Romance Consultant and other careers. The issue is not limited to normal unemployment. I also tested registering as self-employed. The Sim can register as self-employed, but cannot select a normal career afterwards, either while self-employed or after leaving self-employment. Steps to reproduce Start The Sims 4 with a completely new user folder. Create a brand-new save. Create a new Sim. Do not install or enable any Mods or Custom Content. Use the phone or computer to choose Find a Job. Choose any normal career. Quit the career. Try to choose Find a Job again. Expected result After quitting a career, the Sim should be able to use Find a Job again and select another career. Actual result The interaction is available, but the Career Selector window fails to open. Troubleshooting performed Completely new user folder. Completely new save. No Mods or Custom Content. Game repaired through the EA App. Multiple careers tested. Phone, computer and Career panel tested. Saved and reloaded after the problem occurred. The issue persists consistently. The old Sims 4 user folder was renamed and kept separately, so the new test was performed without any old saves, Tray files or Mods. LastUIException The game repeatedly generates the following error: Category: widgets.Gameplay.CareerSelector.SubPanels::HiringInfoPanel Error: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. The stack trace includes: HiringInfoPanel/SetData() CareerSelectorMain/Populate() CareerSelectorMain/SetCareerSelected() The subsequent UI errors contain: WidgetBase/GetRect() WidgetBase/AnimateIn() The report also states: Num Save Errors: 0 Num Load Errors: 0 Modded: False The error has been reproduced repeatedly in the completely new user folder and with a new session ID. Please investigate the Career Selector / HiringInfoPanel, as this appears to be a game-level UI issue rather than a save, mod or custom-content issue.
Certain Showers cause game time to freeze
So, I was playing Britechester in the dorm with spa showers. Everything was fine for the first four weeks, but then a bug started with the time when it was frozen. All the sims were frozen, and I couldn't save or access the CAS. I thought this only happened with unique showers (many had this for a long time), but it happens with these too. The first three showers definitely cause this bug, the last one is questionable, but most likely too. It's not the mods that are breaking. I changed the shower and everything was fine (before that, the time would freeze every day, now I've played for five days and haven't had a single problem). So If anyone else has this problem, it's because of this. I couldn't find any reports, but this was definitely discussed about three years ago. Problems with the Internet connection in the game
Good afternoon! I have a problem like this. I noticed that while logging into the game, for some reason it stopped connecting to the Internet or endless connecting. But at the same time, everything is fine in other applications and I'm online. This has been happening for two weeks now. I cleaned the cache, logged out of my account and logged in again, changed the Internet, restored the game files. Nothing helps. I play with a PC and live in Russia .[XB/PS] Severe lag after update 2.36
I play on the PlayStation 5 and the issue is in a relatively new save. After the July 21st update I’ve found that the lag gets worse the longer you play. Lag lasts for over a minute just when switching characters, opening menus to buy objects in live mode and every few minutes in general. Quite literally making the game unplayable.
Unable To Load Other Lots / Households
I have removed my mods but even then, I'll go to manage worlds and click on a household that isn't my last played household to play in. An error message will show up and tell me to reload the game. I do it 20 odd times and nothing happens. I waited for the new update, thinking it would fix the bug. It did not. I tried to access the household by switching in live mode but an error came up again, so my sim couldn't even visit that household's home lot and then suddenly, I was not playing in my last played household anymore. Whenever I tried to build, nothing would load, so I was stuck on the loading screen for an hour once. Only Create-A-Sim is working correctly. Otherwise, the game is pretty much unplayable. To make matters worse, every time I try to close the game, Steam says "stopping" but the game never actually closes. I have to turn off my laptop completely to force the game to close.

the loading circle is just spinning forever so I can never go online even tho I have a good internet connection and have tried EVERYTHING to fix it (even going deep in my settings and also reinstalling the whole game) also the moola aren't being shown (it's just a bunch of ---)
