Multiple bugs noted, game is near impossible to play for me.
First bug I found was when I was trying to simply save the game- I'd click save, and live mode was still active in the background. It didnt show the save screen, and I couldnt make my sim interact with anything after I backed out from the menu. Tried again and it popped another menu screen OVER the first one, and this screen, I couldnt interact with at all. Second bug, on the main menu screen, my main sim was bald, was missing a bunch of cas items. Apparently, some of the packs I have, arent downloaded, even though I was literally using them the day before. This part may just be a PS5 issue, but it wont allow me to redownload those missing packs at all. I've signed in to my ea account again, reset some things, but that didnt fix it. I Love this game and would love to see these problems be fixed somehow before the next pack drops ToT- BIGGGG Thank you to the Sims team, hope everything can be figured out
Placing lots from the gallery freezes game/endless loading
Computer: PC, Windows 10 I am having issues with the game after the February 25th update where trying to use the gallery effectively doesn't work. I am connected to the internet and initially it'll work fine but when trying to use it repeatedly, such as trying out multiple uploaded lots, the gallery will become stuck on the loading screen and won't load anymore lots, and will tell me that it is having issues. I have tried updating my drivers, removing the tray file, removing all mods, and repairing the game but it still keeps happening. These attempts initially worked for a bit but eventually the gallery would freeze again. Any help would be appreciated. I also recently upgraded my computer so it is possible that it's related to that but as far as I can tell my GPU, CPU and ram is all working as intended. Again, I made sure drivers were updated as I heard that that could cause some issues. Extremely Long Save Times
When attempting to save my game using either "Save" or "Save As," the saving screen gets stuck in an extremely long loading process. I’ve even left it overnight, and it remained stuck on the saving screen. Eventually, I have to force close the game. However, when I reload the game, it appears the save did go through—so it’s saving correctly, but the saving screen never completes, forcing me to close the game manually every time. This issue happens consistently, regardless of which saving method I use. Any idea what causes this?
[CL] Garage door/mural disappears when placed and breaks lots
I have noticed that, since the most recent patch update, a lot of my lots are broken. I have identified the core issue: the DIY Garage Mural from City Living is broken. If I try to place that item onto a Lot, it subtracts the funds + makes a sound of an item being placed, but nothing actually happens. Further, if I try to load a lot that already has this item, I will get an infinite loading screen. If I go to an empty lot then try to add a house or room from my gallery that has this item, I will then have an infinite save or loading screen, or lose ability to interact with the UI. If I load the game without City Living installed, all these lots are completely fine and playable. I saw that EA_Cade was asking for save files that have experienced this bug, but that post was 9 months ago and I have only experienced this issue since the latest patch.
